Wish we had Mclean back, this kid has been useless.

I've often wondered if there's anything you could write on a web forum that's so obviously sarcastic that nobody - not one single person - would be dumb enough to take it literally.

Mr. Morton, I think you've found it. Well played, sir. You win the internet.

After a depressing week on Demonland its nice to be able to celebrate some good news that we can all agree on :)

Interesting to note that he said Gotchy had been implementing Melbournes game plan at Casey, I though we didn't have a game plan!

You really ARE joking !!! McLean ???? Gysberts would leave him in his dust and you may well see that happen if Carlton ever pick him again ???

What a strange comment.. Good move for the week by the Mighty Dees.

I may have spoken too soon ... unless plg31ni is himself being sarcastic, in which case we're through the rabbit hole here, people. Argh, now my brain hurts.

This isn't going to become a thread about Scully, people.

Unless you have deleted posts, there is nothing about Scully...

Would it be safe to say, Gysberts has cemented his spot in the 22 if not 18?

Great News.

And whilst Nasher has asked for the thread not to become about scully i predict he'll sign in the next week or 2 :P

I deleted about five of them.

I'd say Gysberts has shown more than enough to be in the starting side every week. He's already close to being our best clearence winner.

I think we're only Scully (yes I see the irony here) and McKenzie away from our best 22, and Gysberts is not in my thoughts of players who could make way for them.

Can anyone recall a "cleaner" first five games ?

Allen Jakovich ? Don't know about the "clean" bit, but at the time it was certainly a breath of fresh air...is that 'clean' enough ?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
