I thought with the Sydney pick you are looking to secure players from weaker sides. Ie. with Sydney after Goodes and Mumford you don't have a lot of top line talent to choose from. Same with Carlton after Judd, Murphy, Kreuzer. Not sure if I'm right though. Goodes and Kreuzer both flexible in that they can play forward or mid/ruck, you might be going for that.

Shut up.

ha ! The master may well have hit the nail on the head.

That was the joke...

but in the end, there isn't too much strategy that can be applied to this and there will be no competition beyond the draft to qualify it anyway.

Will there?

Got an inkling, yes. But I'm not giving my thought processes away at this stage!

Not while you're deciding on your current pick. (It's your turn).

Trend seems to be KP's and ruckmen are the way to go when you're not drafting a 17 1/2 year old.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
