KC 1-6

I just can't tip against Mahomes

Niners 31 Chiefs 17

Lets do this! Heading to Brewdog in Coburg to watch the game, the Jerry RIce jersey has been through the wash..I'm ready!

Good luck to the 49ers supporters on this thread ... @layzie @DemonDave @titan_uranus  @Go the Biff & @Whispering_Jack

You'll have to beat a great team to win but if you do beat the Chiefs, you'll be worthy winners

A fair bit rests with Purdy but all the areas surrounding the QB are strong

But I reckon if you do win, it will be your defence that will win it for you.  It's been your strength all season

If I was a neutral I'd probably pick chiefs in a close one.

But I can't tip against the Dees or the Niners in the big dance.

SF 27 - KC 24

Christian McCaffrey MVP

Chiefs 7-12

I'm going to back in the niners offensive to get it done. They have so many weapons to hurt the Chiefs.

Margin 7-12

Tbh if the chiefs win I reckon it’s close, if the niners win I reckon it’s 14+

Chiefs 1-6. Hoping for a Niners win though.

Turnover!

That's cost the 49ers 3 points or so

3 and out for the Chiefs so that turnover didn't hurt the 49ers too much

Ooof, Kansas offence is being owned early by the niners D.

Yep, 3 and out, rinse & repeat

And scoring is what the Chiefs do when on song

55 yard field goal.

Don't watch much NFL these days but about what distance is considered a "gimme". Used to be 35-40 yards but that was a long time ago

Depends on the kicker, 45-50 is about the most punters reliable distance, some like tucker are reliable up to 55.

Yeah that was so poor, he was in amongst it and never closes the second arm to the ball.

i was always taught, secure, then get as much as you can.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
