That would have been a horrible injury to get.

I was definitely expecting a wise crack response so that was refreshingly surprising 😆

I don’t wish serious injuries on most players, just minor ones the week we play them or the first minute of the game 😄

2 points up for grabs this week

Hard to concentrate on anything with all the talk around Clarry

Ravens eagles chiefs

Baltimore Philly KC

I think Texans, Jets and Arizona are great value this week, all should be favoured. Stroud and Richardson have been fantastic, hopefully Young finds his groove with the Panthers.

There are some good match-ups this week including Eagles @ Rams,  Jags @ Bills (London) & KC @ Vikings but SNF is a beauty ... Dallas @ San Francisco

The winner can gain an advantage with regards to playoff position so a lot riding on the result

Packers @ Vegas (MNF) could be an interesting game and the early Sunday game between old rivals (Ravens @ Steelers) could get willing as well

Ravens, Eagles, Chiefs

Chiefs  Eagles Bengals

Rams did well bs the eagles today, things that killed then especially in the first half was letting them get 1st downs on third and longs. They did it min 5 times in the first half alone. Bad tackles or missed tackles or in one case a bump where he fell over and Hurts kept going. FMD.
D did well but at the end of the day they spent 15 more mins on the field than the offence did.

49's beating up on Dallas.

It's the first time I've seen them play this year but they look really strong. Very good either side of the ball. They're a contender this year no doubt.

same

Niners were great today, on everybody facet and every play.

Dallas just proves what I’ve been saying for years. Dak is a good QB who beats up lesser teams and only beats good teams when his D gets him the ball in good territory.

Oh and McCarthy is still [censored]

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
