Dallas D sensational again. Offense keeping it simple. After watching Dak go down week 1 I was pessimistic about the cowboys chances for the season but the last 4 weeks could not have gone better.  Huge game v the Eagles next weekend.

Rams are cooked. Edwards comes back from injury and off he goes again, I mean Parsons with a torn groin was still getting to Stafford. Can’t run the ball, Kupp is hobbling, Robinson is a super bust.

We won’t make the playoffs this year.

Really impressive BDA. That Cowboys defensive front is right up there with the best at the moment.

Hard to compete when the injury curse takes hold.

Speaking of which, really happy with our performance yesterday against the Panthers but my word it came at a cost. Bosa groin injury, Jimmy Ward brakes his hand in his comeback game, Jeff Wilson jr has his weekly knock and the one that is crippling is Emanuel Mosley now out for the season with a torn ACL. He's such an underrated hard working corner. I'd like to know why Carolina changed their surface to synthetic, it's not like their owners are poor. Doesn't help prevent a lot of these injuries.

Yeah I’m not a fan of synthetic. They have enough money to prepare grass.

No joke before the game started I looked at the surface and felt it was great for injuries.

Can anyone stop the Eagles at the minute? Looking very strong in most areas.

Big loss for the Cardinals, I didn't catch that last drive but it sounds like they thought they had a first down when Murray slid on 2nd and 10. They then lined up to clock the ball only to find the officials actually chalked it 1 yard shy so instead of 1st and 10 it was really 3rd and 1. Would have thought they would at least do a measure and put time back on the clock, also would have thought a quick run play or QB sneak was the way to go then spike it but with so much happening and time winding down they spiked it then and there and then missed a 43 yard field goal to go to OT. Ouch

Another win for the Jets albeit against a 3rd string QB. Despite that I'm loving the look of some of our you get guys, Hall, Gardner, G Wilson, AVT have looked very good so far.

I'm expecting a tougher game this week against Aaron Rodgers but we then have Denver who look like an absolute dumpster fire. That Russell Wilson contract situation 😮

Remind me, we have to select three away teams yeah? Haven't played in a couple of years

That's it, Gonzo

And may the better team win on Sunday ... although the Jets have got a real chance of winning.  Packers not playing well

Kupp (Foot), Donald (Foot) DNP 😭

Higbee (Ankle) limited

if we are missing one, we are in trouble, two… cooked. All three… don’t even play.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
