This weekend we want all Melbourne supporters to wear their guernsey to the game.

Whether your footy jumper is brand new or a collector’s item, we want to see the stands packed with red and blue.

Every customer who purchases a guernsey from the Melbourne Megastore on the day will receive a free player badge.

I don't know about everyone else, but every round is guernsey round for me.

Same here. I like the idea though, we'll try and flood the MCG with red and blue - might annoy the Tigers a bit.

I've always been a scarf-wearer, and like to bring extras so friends can be Demons for a day (I'm subliminally wearing them down) but couldn't really afford a guernsey until recently. At least, not at the same time as forking out for Debt Demolition!

But I've got one now, and it'll be on pre-game, game, post-game, and any other game I get to. See if you can spot it at the Carlton-Essendon game, I'll be in the bluest of the Blue seats, should stand out nicely.

Wear mine every week.

And not necessarily at the games. :D

Every Monday after a win, you'll find me wearing my footy jumper...number 15 :)

I've got one for each of the last 6 years -- your extras can borrow them.

We'll be out in force!

I have a 2010 jumper but never wear it to the footy. I wear it to footy training, having a kick with the boys and when I am trying to get a rise out of my cycling mates. The only bloke on beach road with an AFL jumper on. They make great wind vests....

I don't know about wearing a guernsey, last time I wore mine I was called a ' sad old man ' by one of the those foxy young at heart cougars up at the Redlegs.

Got my red clash jersey last week. #8 for the Chippenator. My old man in his late 50's still wears his dees jumper each week. I too will go down this path one day!

Eth - you should wear it after EVERY game. I used to wear my jumper to school probably twice a week regardless of the weekends results. At least I can sit back when we win a flag and act how I feel appropriate knowing I was there when we were down, and still showed my true colours to the public. Couldn't think of 1 person that I know through school (and that is some years ago now!), and even at my local footy club, that doesn't know who I barrack for!

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
