No doubt we are a stronger, faster and our chemistry has strengthened. But then again it is an interstate match, I believe if we go out with the same attitude in the first quarter against the swans we could repeat what happened on Sunday.

I concur with this. Its going to be won or lost in the mind and in that first quarter. we are better and more cohesive than when we last met. We , if many will care to remember were the ones that "owned' them that day and started their slide. They really havent got very far off of that floor this year and for that reason I think we can still "own" them even up there, though it will take a bit more belief in their backyard.

Going over the last 6 games were 2 wins 3 losses and a draw with a positive 27 points result.

they have 6 losses with a negative 291 points scored.

They will be desperate to get a win...but just wont be able to. Melbourne by 37points in a gruelling encounter.

Raining in Brisbane Thursday & some rain predicted for Friday. However, Saturday should be partly cloudy with a top of 25c & humidity of 80%.

Looks like the weather should not interfere with the game

Form and ability. Melbourne should win.

However:

Brisbane at home

Coming off 2 thumpings on the road

The coach, players and FD being put under the microscope

Melbourne coming off a huge win

Young Melbourne minds

I am not confident at all. Man i hope i am wrong.

Frawley will go to Brown again you'd assume. Last time Warnock took Fev. Most would probably back Garland but I've got a feeling MacDonald might take Fev and Garland might play on Brennan when he plays forward.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
