I have had my retro tee for about a month and the material seems to be of poor quality. The Tee has shrunk a lot. Has not been put in the dryer. On the lable it says DO NOT IRON, which I have done so maybe this is the reason. Point is how can you not iron a shirt with this material because it looks terrible if you don't?

Has anyone had the same problem or has everyone been walking around with a ragged creased shirt?

Had mine for about 6 months and it is fine. Why would you iron a t-shirt?

haha what a thread.

I like the look of those tees but i think you've put me off. I'm sure you'd be able to iron it at a low heat. If it looks bad creased anyway what have you got to lose.

If it says not to iron, and you ironed it, you have nothing to complain about.

While I haven't seen the tee, I assume the graphics are applied as an attached print, which is tightly applied to the fabric using heat. If you heat up the tee either by putting it in the dryer or ironing it, you will cause the fibres in the fabric to react with the printed graphic and this will create tension that will cause the fabric to shrink.

Care labels, believe it or not, are required by law to provide correct information. The tee would have been tested before the label was applied, so you probably should follow the instructions next time.

Hope you enjoyed your textile lesson kids! :)

You are a bloke, yes? What are you doing using an iron anyway?

Agree with Rojik.

It's God's way of telling you that real men don't iron!

Agreed, no ironing, unless its work or wedding/special function related. Next we will be complaining how our newly ironed underpants have shrunk.

On a more serious note, thats crap if they have been made from poor quality. I was keen to get the Melb FC Tank top, it looked like really good gym wear but they were sold out before the season started and they gave no indication they were getting any more in, which was a pity.

Go ahead and believe that.

More women for me.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
