  1. Alex McDonald said on trade Trade Week Radio a little while ago that we might be interested in trading out Kyle Cheney. Really hope they dont find a trade for him though.
  2. A little observation I've made this morning after beating Leigh Matthews in my Dream Team league by one single solitary point. The little bugger actually has Jack Watts sitting as his emergency on the bench. I reckon he's either changed his much publicised opinion of Jack, put him in as a bit of a cash cow or has just said those things on air to raise a bit of interest.
  3. Got my fingers crossed for Jack to get the nomination this week but i think it might go to Dustin Martin just because he's played most games this season and got 23 disposals. Hopefully the goals and goal assists get our Jack over the line.
  4. I noticed that in The Age's 'At the bar' article they have fueled the speculation the Chip is still talking to the Gold Coast. They'll be chucking a lot of cash at him if his form stays this good. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/at-the-bar-with-mark-robinson-and-daryl-timms/story-e6frf9ox-1225859044734
  5. A bit of talk on the Richmond forums that their team will look something like this. Obviously will depend if Newman gets up or not but i think even if he's only 70% right he'll play. B: Newman, Moore, Edwards HB: Rance, Post, Tambling C: Martin, Deledio, Cotchin HF: Taylor, Riewoldt, Astbury F: Nason, Vickery , Morton Foll: Simmonds, Jackson, Tuck I/C: Dea , Webberley, White, Collins
  6. A little baby boy born this morning as well. A definite tough nut father son in 18 years for the dees
  7. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see our players mark on the lead but often the delivery to the forwards isn't good enough and it'd be nice to see some help for our small forwards in the air. It's probably more about having some numbers around the ball when we get it inside 50. Does anyone know what our conversion rate was when we went inside 50 last year?
  8. hmmm point taken. it probably only happened 2 or 3 times but i guess i notice it more cause i'm always screaming at our players to do it.
  9. Watching the Richmond vs Carlton game last night i was impressed with Jack Riewoldt and Matthew Kreuzer amoungst others who, even when they had little chance of marking the ball, continually crashed packs to bring the ball to ground. I'm only really airing my own grievances here but not since Neita left a few years ago have we had any kind of physicality in the forward line. When there is poor/high delivery into the forward line there should always be someone hitting the pack at pace so that it either comes to ground or makes the opposition earn the mark. Has anyone seen anything I haven't that would suggest there might be a physical presence up there or will I be banging my head against a brick wall again all season?
  10. Agreed, the team sheet means nothing anymore. I would love to see Bruce run with him.
  11. haha what a thread. I like the look of those tees but i think you've put me off. I'm sure you'd be able to iron it at a low heat. If it looks bad creased anyway what have you got to lose.
  12. I put $10 on him just for the hell of it. Since the season has rolled around again my sportsbet account is looking very very empty. I need the Dees to have a win this week just to get a top up.
  13. Wow looks like this thread went off topic pretty quickly. Back to Warnock, he looks like a very good prospect. There will be a few people singing his praises today after a solid game last night. He'll only continue to get better as the season goes and i think he would have been a good fit at Melbourne but as long as he keeps improving his dream team value I'm happy.
  14. Haha I was thinking the same thing. And i don't even want to know what a "hole session" is.
  15. Hope all those players can string a few matches together but i think all of them will be rested at some stage during the year. Would be great to see Aussie and Garland have good seasons after there horrible injury runs. I also have a soft spot for Spencer. I think he could be a good target in the forward line and backup for the big russian. Damn i cant wait for the season to start.
