Neville Jetta – At the start of the year, we didn't see Neville playing a lot, but he showed in the second half of the season he could be a dangerous forward. He has also got some physicality about him. Neville came to the club with a really determined attitude and didn't just want to play at Casey – he wanted to break into the Melbourne team. i love the Kids agression , who could forget the tackle he laid on Sandilands

gives 100%, has good foot skills (although set shots are a worry), not the quickest going around, great pick up for a late draft pick

I can see him slotting down to a back pocket at some stage in his career, to become the next matty whelan

Not sure where he'll fit in to a good side to be honest. I can't find a position on the ground where he'll be better than most.

That said, it was a good season first up. Absolutely love his aggression and the way he attacks the man and ball. The tackle on Sandilands was a cracker.

thats my quandary...however i see the whole side evolving over the next few years and there will be some surprises as to where some find a home on the paddock.

He has something.. not sure what but has a menacing quality about him. One of a handful im looking to see big strides. Bit of an enigma ..a lot of promise.

I have not seen that much of him. but he's not the fittest, nor does he have any stylish kicking talent. But i can see him become a fantastic hard ball gets player, he has a strong body but thats all i see in him at the moment.

But as i do recal, he did have some very good matches with casey in the forward, along side Jurrah and Newton. Where he kicked a few bags.

Really good season for a rookie, the chance to be apart of our future is up to him.

As Nasher says, he is aggressive to a fault, will be difficult to drop when he is getting 7 or 8 tackles and 2 goals a game in our forward line.

To me, he is a role player; someone to keep the ball in the forward line with pressure and harrassment. Will he develop other areas of his game to keep a place in the 22?

I don't know. But at pick 53 (?) it's all a bonus from here.

I agree with Bates Mate, considering Wrecker's gone, Wonna returning to the forwards and the midfield adding Scully and JT. Jetts would be a decent back pocket, with his aggression and wouldnt have many goal kicking set shots, which isnt his strength. Just hopefully he becomes stronger and kicking improves, could be like a Jarrod Harbrow.

There's a lot to like about the Jet (aggression at the man and ball, positioning, decision making) but there's also lots of room for improvement (rough around the edges in a lot of his work - especially kicking, and a bigger engine is an essential). All in all, a very promising debut year from a late draft pick.

If he can become cleaner with his ball use and improve his stamina and acceleration, a regular midfield / changing small forward spot in our best 22 beckons. Not a particularly gifted footballer, but I have the feeling that he's the sort of bloke who has the determination to ensure he succeeds.

He is modest in the stats department, and there's legitimate questions about him as far as athleticism goes...

But when he's around the footy, I get that feeling something's going to happen. He doesn't appear to be predictable. Probably one of the more interesting players to look at over the next few years.

You'd have to say unless it all goes HORRIBLY wrong next year, he'll be offered another 2 years, which would take him through to the end of 2012... At which time a real decision will be made.

Yes a real breakthrough game, and thought he looked very confident. i can see him being a player with plenty of mongrel and a touch of flair. Has the angry pills Jeff Farmer used to take, but hopefully not quite as hot collared.

Jetta showed some good tricks and aggression for one so young but I have concerns over his ability to play small forward or back due to his lack of pace. Could become a good midfielder if he can build his endurance as he knows how to find it and is clean but otherwise am unsure where he fits in the scheme of things.
