Cause they are big and useless. He can't get a game ahead of Leigh Brown. NEXT

Filthy Collingwood piggies trying to offload their crap on us..

10 games in 3 seasons, with only 1 of them worth talking about.

Of Jurrahs 9 games in 1 season to date - at about the same age as Dawes - nearly all 9 were worth talking about.. Dawes doesnt even get close.

He was Taken at Pick 26 - Id hesitate to offer pick 34 for him

Keep pick 18 for Daw or Jetta

EDIT: No Nasher, he is not a pup - he's 100KGS and an adult

This is a hard one. I have such little respect for Demonland posters re MFC players that it's a little difficult to respect their opinion on opposition players.

As always.

Is this what you do in the "real" world? Your first dates must be bloody boring!

With Dawes at FF, Watts at CHF and Jurrah roaming as the dangerous 3rd tall id be very very very happy to get Dawes.

Would rather pick 34 goes to them but I can handle pick 18 cause I rate him pretty highly.

So, let me get this straight.

Dawes; a late 2nd round pick who hasn't done anything in the 3 years he's been at Collingwood gets traded (in your eyes) to Melbourne (who are trying to cease mediocre football) for a solid pick, of 18 in the draft?

Pfft, please.

What do you base your "rating him pretty highly" on?

I've seen nothing & let's be honest people, it's not like the Collingwood FC has the most potent forward line.

If Rocca gets a game before him - WE DON'T NEED OR WANT HIM!

Surely it's a no brainer.

No reason to lump everyone else in with me. :)

You seriously have massive tickets on yourself. Why is your opion so dame important? and why do you think you have the right to pot every person on this sight? I have noticed that all you do is promote yourself and disrespect others. Who do you think you are? im guessing your a no body with a half desent vocabulary and nice computer. If you have nothing constructive to add then don't.

Got it in one, [censored].

My opinion is about as worthwhile as everyone else's.

If Collingwood are desperate to get Fev, they will almost certainly need one of our picks to do so. Thus we have all the cards. Why not Anthony for pick 18? With Fev at Collingwood, Anthony becomes very expendable. Do demonlanders rate Anthony for pick 18? If not what collingwood player do you want (be realistic) for pick 18? We are in a strong position to drive a hard price.

I would prefer to keep pick 11 rather than trade pick 11, but we could use this pick for a young A grade player instead. Anyone we want from the scum?

Hey, I go to Freak for guidance...

Not sure about this. I rated him after he played his first few games up forward but Malthouse has played him down back and even on the flanks at times which doesn't suit a guy of his size.

I reckon he'd be worth a shot but would give up our 3rd rounder, not 2nd.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
