Its official from Liam in his news conference its now the "Walpiri Wizard"

forget the other nick names.

What a year hes had so far, thoughly deserved.

He's definately going to make more people go to the footy, hes the talk of the work lunch room among opposition supporters and a favourite with my family and nephew.

And so he should be. The way he runs and jumps for marking contests is amazing, i really think he could play a key position role for us a bit like robbo. Mind you there is more talent in his fingers than robbo and he is not a selfish, he has definatly shown us that.

His digits (fingers) are remarkably long. I love the way he put s the mits out when taking a mark. It's vice like.

His hand span is huge, there like dinner plates!

Brilliant Stuff Liam You Make Walpirri & all us Demon Supporters so Proud.

After some really Tough years we are going to Rise with peole like you leading the way.

Liam Plays his Football either on Red Dirt or The MCG the same way-Simple. He Gets the Ball & uses it.

Whether its Round 3 or a september Final i believe the Walpiri Wizard will play the same way...simple. Any opponent that picks him up better be strong and Mobile.

Last week against the Coke Eagles i watched him move around for a whole Quarter. Never stood still.

May you play some great & Inspired football in the years to come Liam. You are a credit to yourself & your people........

The Yuendumu mob must be over the moon about this. We all knew about LJ's qualities as a sportsman and as a person, now it seems everybody else does.

A bloke called Jack Watts just grinned a little bit...

But it is fantastic to have two focal points, for a decade, that can kick straight - kick goals that should be kicked.

It took Robbo till he was about 26 to get a routine that worked for him. So it's good to have naturally excellent kicks near goals.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
