Sylvia is like Jamar - towels it up at VFL but can't translate into AFL form

terrible comparison....nothing like jamar's sandy performances. silvia has been good for the demons this year overall, in previous years he's been injured and has never played at sandy for an extended period.

Nice to see C. Johnson amongst the best again.

In fact, everyone in the emergencies from this round played well for the Zebras.

Good to see Sylvia getting a run in. Couple of goals to feel good about should help him along.

And it's lots of fun to smack the Bullants, what with Carlton having the greatest ever all time superhero up-and-coming young squad just waiting to burst onto the AFL...

Looks can be deceiving. Box Hill Hawks haven't even looked like winning a game yet Hawthorn are undefeated

True but Sandy played the Northern Bullants yesterday.

C Johnson is knocking on the door for another chance by the looks and I agree with whoever said Yze should come in for Robbo is he fails to come up.

Sylvia would be a chance to come in as well and if White isn't ready I think its time we got a look at Meesen...Jamar was puss yesterday especially in the second half

I agree, Sylvia this year had started to play decent footy in defence, and he's had OP. Jamar's had more opportunities and less injuries.

If Robbo's out then I expect Yze to come in for him.

Good to see Weetra in the best for the reserves. Hope he gets some confidence out of that.

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The first round draft pick at #13 from twelve months ago the strongly built medium forward has had an impressive introduction to AFL football and is expected to spend more midfield moments as his career progresses.
