  1. Anyone seen Max King? Not on injury list and not playing. Mystery injury of the month?
  2. Tough decisions ahead. Garlett is an auto-inclusion and I'd love to see Brayshaw back. Frost doesn't add much but is better defensively than Pedo (in the forward line) and, if Frost comes out, Pedo is the the only alternative. I can't see them ready to move Frost to defence after his whole preseason being as a forward. With Pedo we get a much better kick, Frost is a shocking kick and both are similarly ordinary in the ruck. I think they'll be swapping in and out all year. Bugg's disposal was terrible but I like the way he gets right up the noses of opponents. Wagner won't come out as Roos always gives debutantes a second go. I thought he was OK too. After the first half, I would've said Kent was a monty to come out, but not after that second half. VDB not doing a whole lot Vince might get the week off. In Garlett, Brayshaw Out: Vince (hope not) and Van Demon or Bugg If Frost comes out, it's Pedo in, merry-go-round style Stay tuned folks, not long before Trenners and Petracca to come in
  3. Did VDB get any time in the middle, or was it all forward? Cheers
  4. Looking at reports from those who actually attended the Casey game, I don't think anyone said the Weed was ready for a game yet, but you obviously know better.
  5. Picture of Brent Harvey would work.... the [censored]
  6. I watched the Pies Saints game today and all I can say is: Take a bow Jeremy Howe! Love it
  7. Lol - you've got 6 players in that are yet to play a whole game. I can see them blowing up in the first quarter.
  8. Because he's still on restricted minutes in Casey practice matches FFS
  9. Only if we can dress him up as a rag doll
  10. I thought the lack of leadership on the ground was palpable. The players started worrying about themselves. At half time I was expecting Jones to pull the group in together for some words before heading back to the changing rooms. I thought he should've said something along the lines of leaving this 2015 [censored] on the ground and coming back in the second half playing 2016 footy. I thought it was line in the sand time and that our line in the sand was bigger than theirs (if you will). I wasn't at the game, but did this happen? I also don't question Jones as captain but he can't just lead by example.
  11. Did Trengove get any midfield time or was it all forward? Cheers
  12. Fair dinkum you could take your pick with the outs: TMac - back to dumb football with terrible decisions Kent - did he play? Comprehensively dacked by a 2nd gamer Hogan - Not going to be dropped but FFS he stops playing when he thinks he should get a free, when he misses a mark, when he's [censored] off with the world. Don't effing stop! Prince - Brought in for his run, translates to: brought in for his run and subsequent turnover Bugg - Wasn't the worst but what's his role? Watts - unsighted until the last qtr and the opposite of his last 4 games. He's been great this year but I was wondering how he would handle a bit more attention (and he didn't) Salem - not the worst but would've topped the 'frees against' tally. Brayshaw - underdone Gawn - tried hard but surprisingly ineffectual Tyson - 3 points that I can remember as well as some shyte disposal Jones - OK but not in the thick of things M Jones - One howler, but otherwise pretty good I could go on but this is the wrong thread In summery, looking at the Casey thread, the INS are maybe ANB and Dunn. The potential outs are endless. I'd like to see an end to the Frost in the forward line experiment thanks. PS Sick of being shattered
  13. I expect Dunn and Stretch will be at the G as emergencies then will sorf to Casey for the game when not required.
  14. If we play like we have over the NAB Cup and last week we should win well. We should positively ram them but we have no recent history of burying sides so I'm not sure we have the conviction to get on a roll and keep going. We tend to try and protect a lead rather than smash sides. Please smash them. I'd give up finishing 9th to Richmond (but only Richmond) if we could smash them. Not asking much, just 150 points.
  15. If Langdon was right we would let Hogan out of his contract a year early to go back to Freo. Yeah right!
  16. I understand Dunn had/has a personal issue to deal with from last year. I assumed he was left out of the leadership group to take the pressure off and allow him to focus on his footy.
  17. I don't think Hunt was eligible to play at Casey today.
  18. I'm quite comfortable with the idea of Richmond looking like a cringeworthy laughing stock. Knock yourselves out!
  19. Righto: B: Jetta Dunn Garland HB Salem TMac Vince C Bugg Viney Brayshaw HF Petracca The Weed* VDB F Garlett Hogan Kent R Gawn Jones Tyson Trengove Oliver Watts Harmes * Give this is an 'idealistic' team, then you need to imagine the Weed with an extra 12kgs and 3 years older. I also wouldn't mind seeing Hunt on a wing.
  20. Going by our current fixture, all but 2 or 3 of our home games would be at Richmond, if it went ahead. Boooo
