I'd like next year's first pick to be involved conditionally if that's at all possible. Ie. if he gets back to full fitness they get next year's first pick plus whatever we offer this year. If not, we don't get as spectacularly bent over, as we might have been giving them this year's kitchen sink.

Any club would kill for O'Meara. The problem is, will he ever play again with half his knees missing and a reco?

I'm looking forward to seeing this but can't find any info about the game being televised. All I can see is Collingwood v W on 7 from 12-3pm tomorrow. This would make more sense given the amount of coverage received this year to date (as well as the fact that it's just W)

I thought he was great in his first year or two. Injured for the first half of this year at least, IIRC I'd be happy to have him here.

Or, maybe they just wanted to have a look at him / throw him in the deep end. I think he acquitted himself pretty well under fairly trying circumstances and as a stick insect kph in his first year. I'd like to see White too and thought we might have by now but I'm not angry and fixated about it.

Had we played like this last week, we would've trashed the bloooooos - it's not saying much, but sometimes just competing and better ball movement (amongst the multitude of errors) is enough to beat a rabble, had the players bothered to get a feel for the game. Great that the commentary clowns picked up that Spencil wasn't there in the last quarter, after leaving the ground in the 2nd. Better effort than last week but that's about it

In the Hun today (or yesterday) it says if Treloar leaves it will be for the deal that best suits the club. It would be nice if that's not all bluff as it would bring us right back in the picture and unfortunately Essendon (until they offer a second round pick) and Carlton.
