Thanks for your input doc. I feel so much better having you behind the stethoscope.

It's all speculation, even Doc Larkins. He wasn't there. They may have pulled him from the game as a precaution, regardless of whether or not he passed the concussion test. I trust they'll put him through a battery of tests and scans, so lets wait and see what happens rather than get silly with the armchair medical advice. PS. I don't think a gimp hat will help Brayshaw in this instance.

The Perth Dees?

I've watched Hall a bit this year. Very ordinary kick and turnover merchant. Just about everything else is great.

He can stick 'The Little Master' up his clacker too (BT that is)

Things I loved about tonight: Oliver - What a gun. Those hands are arguably without equal. Brilliant. Petracca - I loved that his contribution to his first game and a half were largely score assists, one per centers etc. Will be a gun, but has an idea now that it won't come on a platter. Stretch - we are better with him in the side. Very excited about what this team can do

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 7
Roger Mellie replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Wow, the votes are all over the shop! What a great sign. Very difficult decision but 6. Gawn 5. Viney 4. Jones. 3. Oliver (what hands!) 2. Harmes 1. Jetta -
M Jones available or a mystery still?

Interesting playing him there! I think he's got the vision and skills to play there - reads the play very well, just not sure about the pace. Was it a Salem style role? Setting up plays from the backline, rebounding? - Cheers

Roger Mellie replied to The Backyard Charizard's topic in Melbourne Demons
I walked past at the end of training. The senior players had left and the Casey squad were still going. Brayshaw was with the Casey group. -

Mitch, not Max -
Tough decisions ahead. Garlett is an auto-inclusion and I'd love to see Brayshaw back. Frost doesn't add much but is better defensively than Pedo (in the forward line) and, if Frost comes out, Pedo is the the only alternative. I can't see them ready to move Frost to defence after his whole preseason being as a forward. With Pedo we get a much better kick, Frost is a shocking kick and both are similarly ordinary in the ruck. I think they'll be swapping in and out all year. Bugg's disposal was terrible but I like the way he gets right up the noses of opponents. Wagner won't come out as Roos always gives debutantes a second go. I thought he was OK too. After the first half, I would've said Kent was a monty to come out, but not after that second half. VDB not doing a whole lot Vince might get the week off. In Garlett, Brayshaw Out: Vince (hope not) and Van Demon or Bugg If Frost comes out, it's Pedo in, merry-go-round style Stay tuned folks, not long before Trenners and Petracca to come in

Did VDB get any time in the middle, or was it all forward? Cheers
