Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
I posted in the fixture thread over the week that I rang Bet Easy for the odds of that happening. They wouldnāt do it then, told me to ring them back in the new year. Will roll that up with a few certainties a whack $100 on it.

2019 Fixture
Iām glad weāve got those teams twice, I donāt want to finish 4th like Collingwood last year on the back of only beating 1 top 8 team. We wanted to be a big club, we wanted big games and we got them. Very excited. Hawks have had draws like this for years.

I counted 4, I may have been a Thursday night.

2019 Fixture
Only 2 games then I realised weāre going back to back AFLX.

2019 Fixture
Up until rd 22 last season what had we actually achieved?....nothing. Obviously we all want a better draw but I think we need to play the majority of the 2019 season like we did rd 22 - semi before we can start demanding too much.

AFL.com.au Dees Best 22
Looking at these two posts it shows how little depth we actually have. An 18 team competition stretches the talent so we are not alone. Would love Hunt to get his game together and be a regular starter.

How do they all fit in?

2019 Fixture
I rang Bet Easy today to aquire odds for the Suns not to win a game next year. I was told I will have to wait until early next year. This year they won 4 games including upset of the year beating the Swans in Sydney. Having lost both Lynch and May I canāt see them winning a game, making history if it is to happen.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
He will deserve some credit.... I was going to ask you what you meant by that but then I remembered how well he played in the first two weeks of the finals.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think thatās realistic, Iāve always thought key forwards should go into every game with the mindset of 1 goal a qtr. Obviously that wonāt always happen but I think itās a good starting point, aim high.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
2019 season.... Freo will beat up on weaker sides at home and Hogan will kick 5. Heāll be the star that the club didnāt do enough to keep. Freo get challenged by stronger sides at home or when on the road and Hogan fails to impact the game. But it will be the midfields fault and Ross Lyonās gameplay, not playing to Hoganās strengths. If he stayed at the Dees he would have no where to hide, inability to perform would be seen as exactly that, playing for Freo gives him an out. Once in a generation players(forwards) can take the big pack marks, kicks goals without having to be 20-30 metres out directly in front, kick goals from out side 50, kick them when the game is in the balance and dominate the big games.

2019 best 22 and depth chart
No Jones or Lewis in best 22 and thatās how it should be by years end. Some posters have them on the bench as some kind of token gesture but natural progression should have them pushed out as season 2019 progresses.

2019 best 22 and depth chart
I think Oscar is coming along nicely but Iād have Frost over him. Woukd like to see Hunt work on his disposal over summer and push one of Lewis/Jones out.

Who was the other player, I canāt think if him....

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Could we not have got pick 14.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Why the Suns? Didnāt think they would be needed until later.

Would we take $cully back?
Cracking post SWYL.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
My question is, why arenāt other clubs falling over each other in a bid to get his signature? Look what happened when Mitch Clark was supposedly going home.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Exactly, any other possible suitors.....

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Thank you both for your replies. I would of thought if they traded Neale for 5, then 5 and next years first round for Hogan, then 6 for Lobb and a GWS pick of some description this whole this would be done. Itās almost like theyāve stuffed themselves for both trades now. Note : Iāve been with no reception since this morning so just catching up with the latest.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Ive clearly missed something, why did Freo trade out pick 6?
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Out of interest have we offered him an extension on his contract?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
1-200 maybe, 4-5 is way too much to overlook. I think if he is after a big payday it has to be this year. If he stays at Melbourne we still have to fit everyone in and if he fails again against stronger opposition then it will/should affect his asking price. If he goes now thereās still some buying into the āpotentialā line.

So are we thinking tomorrow morning there will be an official announcement?
