  1. I would of thought that playing in a team that had a great back 6 and playing in a premiership he’d know quite a bit. He would of played against some great setups and have some insight into what works and what doesn’t. He may not necessarily be the best but surely he’s no mug.
  2. Who’s left, I’d drop both Jones and Lewis but it won’t happen. ANB is the best of what’s left in terms of experience until AVB/Hannan are good to go.
  3. Jetta May Hore Salem Frost Lewis Hunt Harmes Stretch Melkaham TMac Petracca Jeffy Pruess Fritsch Gawn Oliver Brayshaw Viney Jones Lockhart ANB Out - Weid, Wagner, Wagner, Spargo, Hibberd In - Stretch, ANB, Lockhart, Jeffy, May Like them or not, in form or not I can’t see Jones or Lewis getting dropped.
  4. I’ve already got flights and accommodation for the Hawks game and Queens birthday so I’ll be going regardless. I made the comment last night that besides AVB and Hannan who are we missing when we won rd 22, 23, elimination and the qualifying. Whilst their not stars they are important to our list and their respective roles late last year. Could someone please explain how the new 666 rule is killing us? I think it’s a non issue, we win plenty of clearances at centre bounces. Our entry’s into fwd 50 and ability to keep the ball in there are far bigger issues. Ive never bought into the “it takes years to learn a game plan”, our players (the majority) can play. Clearly it’s not working so change it up. Tigers beating Port last week showed every team what is possible.
  5. Jones and Lewis can join him.
  6. Another honest session. Another presser with Jones telling us how it still burns. Or the club releasing another video of the players chanting our house. Time to cut the crap. Jones a s Lewis to retire, Hibberd can join them, and trade Petracca.
  7. Realistically who’s missing from the side that beat Geelong and Hawthorn in last years finsls? AVB and Hannan is all I can think off.
  8. Wrong Right Wrong Wrong
  9. Richmond’s win last week said it all, no excuses.
  10. Betting is almost impossible at the moment. I understand rounds 1-3 you shouldn’t bet but the trend continues.
  11. Umpiring played a hand in Brisbane’s win over Port three weeks ago. Let’s see how they finish out the season.
  12. Lions are not my second favourite team.
  13. I didn’t watch the game BB, I cashed at early in the 3rd just from looking at the scores. Mindset strikes again....Another mentally weak side.
  14. If Port are serious Hinkley should be sacked by the morning. No excuses for tonight, totally unacceptable.
  15. Lions gifted victory last week by the umpires and got well beaten today. Sucked in.
  16. Bit nippy this morning, knocking off at lunch time. Cant wait.
  17. Isn’t it, we have to start somewhere so it might as well be tomorrow night. Three weeks ago i was thinking tomorrow night would be massive for different reasons, I had the Bombers as a sneaky chance to finish 7 - 8 this year, and us 2 & 0. Look how that’s turned out....
  18. No meds mate, just my unwavering love for the most frustrating club.
  19. I’m pumped at the moment, I’ve got the MCG/SCG double. Flying down tomorrow morning for my first game of the year, returning Sunday afternoon. Then off to the SCG for Thursday night footy. Expecting to be 2 & 2 come Thursday night with our season back on track.
  20. Jones is doing a Grimes.
  21. To be honest I never saw a lot of May during his time at the Suns, interested to see how he goes.
  22. Club culture. Look who’s left in recent years and they’re still going.
  23. And the hawks kick another one, what’s their excuse?
  24. Sorry, that may have read wrong. I agreed with what you wrote. I didn’t mean to imply you thought that, it was simply an extension of the narrative. Right spot, right time but struggles to influence.
  25. Tried to impact the game with numerous tackles but ball carrier still easily able to offload. Cant fault his endeavour.
