  1. As long as they’re consistent, some them are very blatant.
  2. Richmond players allowed to drop the ball cold with no free given to the Hawks. The pinged Poppy early....
  3. So incorrect disposal is a rule?
  4. I can’t help but feel that we should be playing tonight, and I think we’d be a massive chance to roll the Tigers if that was the case. Hawks Dees GWS Pies Cant wait.
  5. When was Hogan in a form slump this year? Leading into QB he had kicked 10 from his last two games and 31 for the season. He then kicked donuts against Collingwood and Port Adelaide, then went on to kick 3, 2 & 4 goals in his following 3 games. There’s a difference between a form slump and getting beaten by a better opponent.
  6. Just hold on a minute Brendan, the actual order of despised clubs is as follows : Richmond Geelong Collingwood / Essendon Then any other club.
  7. With Frost’s pace, athleticism and all round general improvement could he not play on mid size forwards as well as talls? I think your first back 6 is not only great defensively but also would generate a lot of drive from the back half. Frost was massive against the Giants. With regards to the forwards I think three is too many. TMac must be the deepest fwd.
  8. But it’s on a Thursday, can’t be.....
  9. Obviously not the way anyone wanted his career to end. I loved the way he went about it, all the best in the future B.V.
  10. Perceived value. He’s a 50 goal a season player who’s yet to hit his prime, he’s arguably the best young forward in the comp, a contested footy beast. He’s easily worth 1-1.2 million a year. Three tall forwards isn’t sustainable IMO.
  11. The amount of money will be the end of the story IMO.
  12. For his last contract Hogan held all cards, the go home factor and his potential was there for all to see. No one is doubting he he has talent, the debate hinges on how much, and is that talent good enough to impact big games. There are two sides to this discussion, those that continually state how many goals he’s kicked, marks he’s taken and then those that point out that they are largely against sides which won’t be playing next week. Those that say “imagine how much we would of beaten the Eagels by if Hogan was playing” and those that thought his absence would actually strengthened our chances of winning because of our teams dynamics changing. Our victories this year against Eagles/GWS this year and Crows/Eagles last year are surely more than just a coincidence. Obviously that doesn’t mean we win every game Hogan’s not in the side but it’s something we as supporters and footy department are fully aware of. Why is it that our midfield which apparently is largely to blame when Hogan plays poorly is so instrumental in our victories when he’s not playing, have we seen Hogan’s best? For supposedly the best young forward in competition he has some big flaws in his craft. Is there any chance he’s not the player we all thought he’d be when we first drafted him. His career will be and his next contract should be determined by his performance’s in big games.
  13. Come in Brad Green, he was one of my favourites.
  14. Surely Brayshaw has to be up there, on top of his clearance work he’s starting to kick the odd goal running into fwd 50. Really interested to see how Frost’s form continues as we enter the finals. Obviously in no ones top 5 players but if he can build on his current purple patch he will find himself getting a game every week. I think we could play Lever, Oscar and Frost together.
  15. You forgot to mention Oliver stands up in big games.
  16. Awesome, about bloody time. We wanted Would love to know who’s driving it.
  17. And they’re not over celebrating....
  18. Not much love for JKH but he’s in so let’s get behind him.
  19. 3 out 4 of Richmond’s last 4 games have been victories by 3, 3 and 8. Everyone is gettable this year.
  20. Although a loss would mean I could watch the team week 1 of the finals this is a must win game. A home final first up and a potential dream run of all finals at the G should we be good enough to progress. It will be really interesting to see our mindset at the start of the game.
  21. Dylan Shiel, get it done.
  22. Something that I don’t think anyone has considered is money. He’s 24 next year and in the last year of his contract, obviously none of us know how much he’s on but it would be fair to assume it would be quite substantial. Part of his contract would of been based on potential and the go home factor. This next contract should be naturally larger and his “payday”. But if his inability to perform in big games continues or a potential move to defence was to occur (I can’t see this happening, I think he would change clubs to where he could play forward) then he would/should be offered a contract that reflects his worth to the team. This could result in a significant difference between what we’re offering a what another club may offer.
  23. Being a Redleg my GF ticket awaits. Cant wait to watch the boys put Richmond to the sword.
  24. Dream big, on our day we can beat anyone. Stating the obvious we can’t afford any more injuries.
  25. I think the Pies will have the higher %. They play Freo while Hawks play the Swans.
