Time to go Goody?
In addition to this the saying in footy itās not just who you play but when you get them, ie after a short break, after a bye, multiple players out injured. But at this time of year most teams are starting to hit their straps yet with us itās almost like we reset every week and any momentum gained the week before is completely lost. We cannot use youth as a reason which could be understandable with some other teams.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton

NON-MFC: Round 19
Such a stupid rule, a bloke attacking the footy is completely different from deliberately taking someoneās legs.

Where is Fritta going
What do posters consider to be more challenging, playing midfield or playing fwd? Add to that playing fwd in a team that plays the way we do. I missed a lot of sundays game due to work commitments but some of what I saw in the second half was we seemed to open the fwd line up a bit. In the upcoming trade period our chances of landing a dominant key fwd are zero and our chances of landing a serviceable one are remote. Having both Fritsch and Melksham in our fwd line makes us dangerous so long as weāre playing a certain way. Trading Fritsch would be madness.

Weāre not as bad as you might think
And there we have it.

Weāre not as bad as you might think
Considering our draw, no.

Forward line fixed (for the time being)
In the trade thread I floated Buku Khamis as a potential trade target. Heās 190cm tall, quick, can take a mark and from the litter times Iāve seen him a reasonable set shot. Limited opportunities at the Dogs but can play and shouldnāt cost much in terms of a trade. We need to be realistic about our options considering where we currently find ourself.

Time to go Goody?
They were failures, all we had to do was not bomb the ball inside fwd 50 every single time.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Weāre trying to out do Essendon v Tigers from last night.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
I didnāt put money on North because I donāt think theyāll win, had the tigers in my multi and hopefully thatās the only upset of the rd. I donāt consider GWS winning an upset.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
This is why and it being Goodyās milestone game.

NON-MFC: Round 18
Quick ball movement through the corridor to an open fwd line, what a concept.

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
A lot of talk about how good Northās odds are, anyone loaded up yet?

Time to go Goody?
Because every now and again you get someone like Ross Lyon who sticks it up the AFL about things everyone is thinking but most of us donāt have the platform and those that do are too scared.

Trade Targets
Appreciate that but stats can be misleading. Whereās Melksham currently rated over the last 5 weeks?

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Heās slow and whilst a good user of the footy heās not a big kick.

NON-MFC: Round 18
Carlton about to get pumped.

Trade Targets
Article on Instagram during the week of the leagues 15 highest paid players this year. 1 Lynch 1.4 million 2 Ben McKay1.3 million 3 Trac 1.2 million 4 Naughton 1.2 million 5 Bolton 1.1 million 6 T Kelly 1.1 million 7 Bont 1.1 million 8 Oliver 1 million 9 Moore 1 Million 10 Cripps 1 million 11 Heeney 1 million 12 Butters 1 million 13 Rozee 1 million 14 Ben King 1 million 15 Grundy 1 million Compare that to what currently is and will most like be the final 8 (Freo are overrated) 1 Pies Moore 2 Lions None 3 Crows None 4 Geelong None 5 Hawks None 6 Dogs Bont and Naughton 7 Suns King 8 GWS None Weāve just signed Kosi to 1.1 - 1.2 a year, fair to say one or both of Oliver and Trac have to go, itās unsustainable to have all 3. Like many others Iād be happy to let Oliver go and a fresh start could be best for both parties. Lions last year premiers have none as do Geelong and the Giants. I understand things change and I was excited as everyone else was when we locked them both away long term but this list for me speaks volumes.

NON-MFC: Round 18
Lions for % Pies because suns are overrated Dogs with Magpie like pressure GWS Tigers Freo at home Dees Swans Port
-
PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Petty or TMac down back. Turner coming out of the goalsquare with Melksham and Chin buzzing anround, open the fwd line right up, manic footy for parts of the game.

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
3 weeks ago I had a $5 bet on when North beat Carlton, Swans beat Port and Brisbane beat Geelong, it paid $415.68. I actually had 8 x $5 bets on and I took those 3 games each way and the rest one out. If youāre confident on North try something similar.

Time to go Goody?
Do I think Goodwin needs to go? Yes Do I think in the past senior players (from our club and others) have gotten together before a game and decided on effort levels when faced with situations like we are now? Yes Do I buy into the new gameplan excuse? No, as I mentioned after the suns game consisting of our worst 1st qtr followed by effort. I think thereās enough talent player for player to beat the Roos regardless of game style in addition Larkey looks like missing the game along with Darling, Parker and Wardlaw. Potentially others Iām missing. I would like to think if nothing else we try and win as many games as possible as Thatās why we play footy. Letās try and give the Bombers as high a pick as possible. Culture Play the kids and for periods in games letās try some face paced run n gun footy into an open fwd line and letās see what happens. We canāt be accused of tanking. At times when weāve moved the ball quickly weāve looked dangerous but still a lot to work on. And last of all for betting purposes.
