2020 Demons Goal of the Year
Trac kicked 15 goals for the year. About 9 were sensational!!!!

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Tom Phillips or Isaac Smith. Really!! Phillips every day of the week. 8 years younger and has been a top performer in 2018 and 2019. He’s not deteriorating.

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Just another reminder He would walk in to our best 22 on the wing

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Has all the makings of an excellent mid sized forward. Good mark. Good kick. Good pace. Kicks goals. But goes missing and sometimes tries to our mark key position teammates and opponents when he should be crumbing or presenting short option. Hard to see him commanding a position but rotated in and out of the team with Fritta, Vandenburg, Melksham, ANB getting first crack.

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
Another Trac Nomination. (#6) I remember another excellent long range Trac goal v Suns in Round 6. Two minutes left and we were 5 points up. Oliver was actually composed and found Trac 50 metres out. Trac kicks it 60 metres straight through the middle and into the stand. Seals the game.

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
Agree. End of the first quarter. It had a real stamp of authority. The way Trac picked it up and burst clear and slotted it from a tight angle about 40 metres out. First class ??

2020 Demons Goal of the Year
The Demond had 3 nominations for Goal of the Year during the year. Round 11 Kozzy Pickett for his twist and juggling and snap goal versus the Roos Round 12 Jake Melksham for his quick reaction soccer goal from 12 metres out v Pies Round 14 Christian Petracca for his “mark” twist and strength to turn and kick whilst being jumped on from 25 metres out v Saints (the match winner). It won the weekly Best goal. I still reckon Trent Rivers left foot spiral kick v Giants in round 17 was a beauty and so important to win it. The small crowd went crazy. Other nominations ????

Revamped VFL
Yes I believe 24 teams across conferences and potential for cross over matches with actuaries working through the draw and revolving fixtures. NASA is being consulted by Gil to add more complexity and ensure everyone is totaled confused and bamboozled by the mess being created.

Revamped VFL
KC. It’s going to be a mess?!?!?!

Lynden Dunn has Retired
Life member. 12 years as a loyal Demon. Stayed during the really crap years and was versatile across all positions. Loved his goalkicking and ability to kick 60 metres easily. Was pushed out as one of Goodwin’s first moves and followed his mate Jeremy Howe to the magpies. He was bitter imo when he left and wanted to stick-it-up the Dees. Nevertheless he gave his best and will be welcome back to repair any issues.

TMac on the Trade Table?
What’s the update? I believe his management is trying to get the media to get some trade activity going. I think his $$$ contract may scare off his potential suitors. I wouldn’t like us to have to pay for example 1/3rd of his salary out of our cap if he leaves. That’s rubbish business imo.

Jared Polec
Is he toxic goods?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Brown would be suited to the Bombers. Fits their desperate need. They have $$$ and will need to catch a fish to appease their rabid feral fans. Plus he will be another whipping boy for their whingeing

Jesse Hogan on the way out at Freo?
Jesse Hogan back at the Dees for pick 62. Unfortunately Jesse has ongoing mental and physical issues that require high maintenance with specialists required. His body language and work ethic is priority number 1 to get him in the right mindset to compete. We may already have seen the best of Jesse. He would be another project !!

Opportunities Aplenty for Rivers
I’d like to see Rivers stay in his half back role in 2021 or move up to a wing if needed. He’s got the skills, pace and intensity to make a really good half back and use his rebound to setup play forward of the footy. Certainly great signs for his future and I’m glad we extended his contract.

Will Petracca Feel Brownlow Love?
Is Jack Steele to biggest danger to Neale? Saints won enough games and Steele was right in the heat of the action. Clearly no other player likely to take votes off him. I think it’s Neale, Steele, Boak and the Trac as top 4. No surprises there!

Taylor Excited About the Draft
I think Kozzzzzzzy needs more footy IQ. He’s still a boy really but needs development. Speed. Yes. Mongrel. Yes. Getting to the right spot/ Crumbing - needs development Composure - needs development

Trade Targets
Langdon is NOT on $700k. That’s fiction. I believe he’s got a five year contract worth around $2.4M. And based on incentives for games played etc etc.

Farewell Braydon Preuss
- Farewell Braydon Preuss
Yes I think the Corr compo which will end up around 32-33 will be the likely trade deal. That’s fair business and should get it done. Preuss was a good backup but he should be playing as a number 1 ruckman now. Good luck to him.- 2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I know the Lions have earmarked another few youngsters for the 2021 draft as very strong performers and will continue to get an arm chair ride to pick up quality local kids out of QLD. Pies have Youseph Dib in their NGA program and is highly rated as a potential top 25 player. Of course they also get access to Nick Daicos in 2021 draft and he is top 10 quality. Unfortunately Dees will not get such benefits on the near horizon.- Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Tom Phillips 6th in Pies B&F in 2018 7th in Pies B&F in 2019 Both years was finishing behind some pretty good players in Grundy, Pendlebury, Treloar and Adams. injuries this year and shorter quarters didn’t help when he played as he has great endurance and often runs out games better than most. Dees actually need players that don’t stop in the last 2-3 minutes of a quarter. He fits our needs and comes probably at a reasonable price. All the better if the Filthy Pies don’t rate him. I was going to offer Future 2021 2nd round but they can have pick 63 this year if they like. - Farewell Braydon Preuss
