  1. Cal Twomey has released his updated Top 25 form guide. I’m amazed he has left out Nathan O’Driscoll. I had him top 12-14.
  2. Dees need a tall and quick defender to play key back and let Lever play as a 3rd intercept defender. I think we had Petty marked for that in 2020 but injury robbed us of his breakout year. ?for HP in 2021
  3. Swap of Frawley for omcd. That’s some far out left over centre thinking !!! Unfortunately Frawley looked spent in 2020 and might actually be delisted by the dorks
  4. O’Driscoll probably gets picked earlier than Carroll. I think he is top 10-12. He is a tough kid and good pace. Obviously not unlike Clarry Oliver imo given his ā€œgingerā€ hairdo. Clubs with like him as he is ready to go in 2021 from round 1. Expect the Dockers or Cats to grab him in the 10-14 range.
  5. Jack Carroll is a kid that I saw in the 2019 Futures game and he impressed with his time and ball use efficiency. Reminded me of Scott Pendlebury. Kicked a beautiful goal in the last quarter that showed his composure and skills. I thought he was exactly the type of youngster we need. Maybe even think Simon Black in style. In the WA combine testing, Carroll had very good results for the vertical leap testing. Unfortunately there is no decision making or kicking efficiency tests as these are Jack’s strengths. I didn’t expect him to win the sprint. And don’t forget he was a teammate of Jacko and Riv in the 2019 East Freo Colts. Over to you JT to get it done.

Exactly. Why would he leave ? His little brother is coming onboard for 2022. Move on
  7. Karma. I thought we’d be onto this. Signed up now until 2023.
  8. Fantastic news
  9. Pick 62 and Omcd and Tmcd to Kangas ??for Brown ??
  10. Interesting to see how they view Chandler. He was a bouncy little forward pocket as a junior. Wasn’t expecting him to get drafted or rookied to be honest. Tried him as forward pocket in a game in 2019 and he seemed ok albeit limited ability to get the footy. They did play him apparently as a back pocket in the scratch matches this year. At 174cms, he needs more than energy to stay on the list. I can’t see us having Kossy, Bedford, Spargo and Chandler. I think he will probably get delisted but it’s tough given the list cuts and inability to play a regular season.
  11. Good news. I believe he signed in the wrong place twice before finally slotting his signature in the right spot. ???? but the media release says he ā€œplays with integrity ā€œ. (Wtf)
  12. Polec, Brown, Isaac Smith as ins. That’s a decent off season.
  13. I think Rivers wins Demonland Best First Year player. Definitely a contender for GOTY with his winning goal v GWS.
  14. Targets should remain Polec & Witherden. I’d prefer Narkle but Cats are ageing and would be very unlikely to trade. Preuss likely to get us a good draft pick to use. This is for Werridee... (Witherden) MAY LEVER SALEM TOMLINSON HIBBERD LANGDON VINEY (Polec) HUNT BROWN MELKSHAM PICKETT WEID FRITSCH GAWN TRAC OLIVER JACKSON RIVERS BRAYSHAW HARMES Emerg - Vdberg Petty Sparrow Hannan
  15. Get the lad a pen. When I watch the finals, he is a player that can stand up in the heat of the action. Only about a dozen of our current group have the finals intensity. Rivers is one already.
  16. Did we sign Rivers up for a few extra years ? I’m offering him 5 year deal right now.
  17. Can’t believe the ridiculous view that we are better off without Viney. Ridiculous. Heart and soul. Competitor. B&F results show his year on year performances. Only year he wasn’t in top 3 was when he was injured. In watching the finals, Viney is the TYPE YOU WANT PLAYING IN YOUR TEAM. SIGN HIM UP. A DEMON FOR LIFE. 4 YEAR DEAL GETS IT DONE.
  18. Smith ended the season as a liability. Cannot believe he gets 2021. Obviously he is on low $$$$.
  19. Neale $1.00000001 Petracca $15 Boak $15 Dangerfield $20 Martin $20 The rest $100+
  20. Every coaching position should be reviewed. Goodwin safe for 2021 but the rest might be on the edge. I would put serious $$$ to keep Burgo. Richo probably might be lucky to stay on.
  21. Elite kicking skills Good pace Runs the lines Left footer Wing or half back position Xavier Robins - son of former Demon Haydn Robins- has had a great year in the Glenelg under 18s. On the fringes , he pushed up to get a few reserves games. His testing at the State Combine are impressive. 2.98secs for 20 metre sprint (2nd place) and 6m38s for 2km time trial. He is 184cms but only weights in at 74 kgs. Needs two preseasons in the gym but is a possible late pick or rookie pick. I think he would be a handy pick given his skills and pace.
  22. As stated on many occasions, he’s a gun. Wish we had him in our forward 50.
  23. Cats were poor. Very poor. best - Dangerfield, Tom Stewart , Parfitt, Stanley, Tuohy the rest were lost disgraced - Rohan, Dahlhaus, Miers ineffective - Ablett, Selwood, Guthrie, Duncan. They could not run and execute. The biggest fail - Hawkins goal kicking. 5 behinds , one on the full . Three were definitely bad misses that he should have swallowed. Scott putting Danger forward in the second half. Crap coaching. Port applied pressure but Cats choked.
  24. Johnnie Walker. Rawlings can keep on walking.
  25. Agree. I watched 4-5 Hawks games and Frost was definitely more composed with the footy. Still good 1 on 1 and his pace was useful. As an aside Frawley looks done. He was a battler in 2020. Next year will probably be his finish.
