Farewell Oscar McDonald
Surely omcd and pick 63 to Swans for pick 52 Or omcd and pick 63 to Power for pick 51 Or omcd and pick 63 to Crows for pick 50 If Tom goes to NSW for Giants or SA for Crows, Oscar can still tag along.

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Surely we can sell us as his very best option

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
looks so much like Chris Scott. Even the suntanned face !!!!!

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Couldnāt agree more. Everyone knows my view. Phillips gives us 5-6 years minimum. Heās the perfect fit and we can guarantee him game time in his preferred decision. We can help the Pies salary issue. Itās a win win. Iād be shouting out that he is our target. Make him feel wanted. A future 2021 pick gets it done.

Hore & Spargo Ink New Deals
Ruthlessness. I agree itās a āSoft touchā

Hore & Spargo Ink New Deals
Two years for Spargo. wow. I thought he was on the fringe and deserved only one more year to show he is capable. Yes he had a good āquarterā v Pies and was ok v Giants. But was lost v Bulldogs and was shocking in final game v Dons [4 possessions and no pressure acts at all] List management?????

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Except Tom McDonald unlikely to be there

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Ben Brown is nearly across the line. Iām tipping we win his signature and itās announced that he has chosen us by the weekend. Obviously the draft pick exchange imv might take a big more negotiating.

Trade Targets
Wow. Heād be a great addition.

Nathan Jones Locked in for 2021
Iāll go. His heart is red and blue. His courage and loyalty is unrivaled. Is he in decline? Yes Is he restricted? Yes Is he still able to compete and play a role ? Yes. Can he be a mentor for the younger blokes about professionalism and what it takes? Absolutely I feel he will also be in much lower $ probably as low as about $250k. He may or may not to 300 games but he is depth, he is cover and he is able to make a meaningful contribution if required. If you go back to the Crows and Collingwood games this year, you will see what he can still brings.

Jack Higgins
Iād be going strong in looking at landing Higgins. I think Higgins knows heās unlikely to get air time in the Tigers right now. Exactly the smart player we need to create and kick goals. Heād be an excellent small forward alongside Pickett and as a crumbing forward. He walks into our best 22. I canāt see him at the Saints. Gresham and Butler are already their small forwards. They are adding Crouch to their midfield so itās already crowded. Dees make sense for Higgins.

DD36. Agree. End this rumour mill. Iām thinking weāve got a 120 page thread if this drags in for another fortnight.

2020 Player Reviews: #42 Josh Wagner
Josh showed great potential. Good mark and okay kick but lacked the intensity and drive to succeed. Had a chat to him at a Maroochydore pre season session and he is very easy going bloke. I think he could have been better but didnāt have the hunger. Another player who will star at a VFL or NEAFL level but could not quite get to the ongoing AFL standard. Still he played 42 games so made a good contribution. Best of luck to him.

Hibberd Extends for 2021
Great news
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
It just makes sense. The missing piece ... plus Trac becoming a fu@$)&n megastar!! We will all get the Demons tattoo if we end the premiership drought ffs

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Nick Stevens returned some good results in the draft testing. 2km time trial - 6m32s ; 20 metre sprint 2.97s. Combination of endurance and speed He has the footy ability and the athleticism needed for AFL Might be available around pick 26- 30 if we hold our 2nd round pick. HERE IS A BIG CALL. I think this kid might be the next Trent Rivers. ? Ps. Jack Carroll is also going to be a gun. Think Simon Black.

The Brodie Smith thread
Itās worth at least 4 page thread without even a meaningful sign that he leaves the Crows !!!
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Tom Phillips should see an easier pathway at the Demons than Freo. ā still in Melbourne ā not on a 4 hour flight every fortnight ā plays on the MCG* ā Dees have left side wing ready and available Surely we can sell the MFC
-
Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
Screw Smith if he gets to the Cats. Phillips is the one thatās the fit for us in the left hand side wing for the next 5-6 years. Make the call. MFC Future 2nd round 2021 pick gets it done.
-
The Brodie Smith thread
Yes at 29 he may not want to go through the Crows rebuild. We might tempt him with a 3 year deal and a chance to be part of the finals action. Iād happily swap him directly for Tmcd and throw in the future 4th round pick that was the vogue in 2019 swaps.
-
Adam Treloar
Sorry George , I didnāt know he was on that sort of $$. Holy cow. Iām not buying at that price. I thought he was a $500k a year type. No wonder pies are being āgrand prixā , but screw them. They did the deal
-
Adam Treloar
Iām definitely making a call. If the Filthy pies pay some $ from his contract. Heād be a good fit, even as a goal kicking half forward or mid. A 3 year deal only.
-
Isaac Smith
If he comes, itās a bonus as a free agent. If not, Iām going to ramp up the Tom Phillips dialog even more.
-
Trade Targets
Agree depending on list sizes and already held contracts.
