Bunch of Dees re-sign
The 7 resigning should be under the Casey news imv. They represent emergency options albeit n fairness Turner D-Smith and Bedford are still under development.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
JVR. Good call. It’s a Yes from me. Need to consider key position forwards. He looked like a talent in the WA-SA game. Definitely a good strategy to grab him if available and then be comfortable that he would have at least 2 years development. I would see him as a assume the Tmcd role in my view as an agile CHF for 2024. However I’m still prefer PICK 17 selection on a fast running mid as a need for our continued improvement like a Mitch Owens or Campbell Chesser. Though not disappointed if it’s used on JVR.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Just need to keep focussed. It’s all talk of “back to back”and we will setup a “dynasty” LETS JUST ENJOY THE PREMIERSHIP Remember it took a lot of hard work in so many areas to achieve it. The hard work will need to be replicated and improved. We are now the Hunted.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
- Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
I think (only my view) we shafted his Dad twenty years ago due to $$$s. I’d like to see us rectify that and give Taj a spot on the list. He has the talent and it appears his year shows his dedication to do what’s required for AFL footy.- Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
Taj comes from a very good footy factory. East Fremantle. The club that produced Luke Jackson and Trent Rivers.- POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Watched the last half again on TV late last night. It gets more enjoyable each time. Just that last minute of the third quarter. Wow. Bang bang bang. We will talk about that FOREVER. It’s Demon folklore!!!- Welcome to Demonland - Pick 17
Campbell Chesser - remember the name- Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
List spots are actually now very tight given we have again contracted guys like Mitch Brown and Chandler who I thought might have finished up at the Dees (expected Brown to be delisted and Chandler to seek opportunities elsewhere). I think Dees should definitely declare him as a Father Son pick. He’s likely to only require a very late pick or a rookie.- 2021 List and Contract Details
Yes it’s a full house now, considering 3 draft picks to be added (17,37,49). It’s a cruel game. Hore and Declase are quality backup players but cannot afford to carry too many such players with tighter lists. Actually it’s happening more and more across the league. Blues just cut Gibbons who has shown he’s AFL quality across the past 3 years.- 2021 List and Contract Details
- Bunch of Dees re-sign
DD36. Who’s unsigned now? Hore? Declase??- Kade Chandler
Who remains unsigned?? Hore? Declase??- AFL Trade Period
Dogs gifted two key position 10-year players that are probably best tall forwards in their draft years. That’s a bonus for a team already stocked with a good midfield. Probably youngsters will reach their peak by 2025.- AFL Trade Period
Agree. Salary cap mismanagement and they offload their AFL concession “to make them stronger “. Wtf!!?!?- 2021 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Dees might lose Mac Andrew and then come up to pick up Mitch Owens from under the nose of the Saints NGA.- Welcome to Demonland: Luke Dunstan
“you can’t have enough tough inside mids in the your team “. Only sensible thing out of Rendell’s mouth in a week.- AFL Trade Radio
- AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURS
I agree but it’s a no from me as we are stacked right now for tall forwards. He’d also probably be reluctant given we have Jackson, Tmcd, BBBrown & then Weid already waiting in the mix. Probably if Tmcd was retiring then he’d would certainly been a strong option.- Welcome to Demonland - Pick 17
17, 37, 49- Kade Chandler
I think the sentiment all around is that he is a quality young bloke and had the potential to be a handy small forward. But with limited prior and future opportunities at the Dees, he is fine to be looking elsewhere. We wish him the best if he goes home to Adelaide.- Welcome to Demonland: Luke Dunstan
Nailed it. We give up nil and he’s very good insurance. We need midfield to be fit and strong across another hopefully very long year. Our contested footy is the best in the league.- Welcome to Demonland - Pick 17
Dees could be looking at securing Mac Andrew with a first round pick themselves. It could be on a knife edge. I think it’s again a very smart move as there are a number of really quality players in the 10-20 range which the Dees might access if one slips down the order.- Kade Chandler
Yes I think he has shown some ability in limited games but ultimately behind a few players in Pickett and Spargo so difficult to see him getting in. Chandler is on the cusp and Crows might give him a good opportunity. We also have Bedford in line for a small forward role or even Laurie as a small creative forward. Wishing him the best if he moves on. - Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
