  1. Freo. Heave ho !!! I’d take picks 6,18,26 and 36. (That’s us as premiers of course). I’d try to package up 18 and 26 and maybe a future 1st to get one of Suns picks. We need 2 x young A grade type midfielders to regenerate and get added pace and skill into the team.
  2. @Whispering_Jack well lots of good stock options if this was the case 11. Zane Duursma - Gippsland - 189cm 79kg BUY 22. Ryley Sanders - Sandringham(Tas) - 186cm 85kg BUY 25. Ashton Moir - Glenlg - 188cm 84kg. BUY 31. Logan Morris - Western - 191cm 90kg. BUY I would take all 4 within the top 18 imv. Duursma is top 5 imv.
  3. Ollie Florent. swans. But signed up until end 2024. Finn Callaghan. GWS. But signed up until end 2025. It’s the draft for me this year.
  4. Trac DE 50%. Handball 10/14 71%. Kicking efficiency 4/14 28%. But 15 contested possessions so he still had a good game just not as damaging as we would like. Kozzy. Love him. But 2 errant speccy pack attempts were awful. 6 possessions. 2 behinds. Tackles were good but maybe because he couldn’t get the footy. He’s too stationery around packs.
  5. 5 points ✅ 1. The game plan. Protect through the corridor. Own and embrace the corridor. It worked 😀😀. Our pressure and tackling were the highlight of the day. Goody certainly showed good planning and the players executed. 2. Jack Viney. Wow. He’s a star. 32 possessions. 19 contested. 11 tackles. 1 goal. We’re lucky to have him onboard. Courage. Strength. Desire to win the footy. His tackles and pressure were immense. His work in tight to win the footy, spin through a tackle and deliver to JVR was elite footy. Great game. 3. Big Freeze. Neale Daniher. I had goosebumps during the guard of honour. Oh boy. Nearly in tears. We have to as a civilization find a cure to this horrible horrible beast of a disease. It’s crippling. Bec is a star. And The Reverend. Oh boy. Neale is one of the most courageous people you would meet. I met him 23 years ago during a MFC function and he was so down to earth. What you see is what you get. No BS. 4. How good was Salem. He was a ripper in the 2021 GF and we sometimes forget how good he is. Great to have him back. He was skilled, tough, composed and when needed to defend he did. 83% kicking efficiency. And through the corridor. Just behind JV as our best on the day. 🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔🥔 5. our goalkicking. I had to book in to see my cardiologist. It was so frustrating. We nearly lost the unloseable game. We should have won by 6 goals or more. Surely as professional full time athletes, it’s such a crucial skill. But goalkicking is actually looking harder and worse than ever. We were the masters of the art earlier in the year. Is it just confidence ? We must rediscover our goalkicking mojo.
  6. I am really hoping Trac becomes the elite player that we all know he is. He is a star. No doubt. We all love him and he’s truly one of my favourite players ever. But at the moment his foot disposal and goalkicking is letting him down. I think you can see it in his approach to goalkicking that it’s a mental weight on him. He’s actually a weapon across the forward zone (as shown in 2017 26 goals 6 behinds; & 2021 29g 19b ) but last year and this year it seems a problem. Really really really hope he can regain his zen for goalkicking.
  7. After being a strong part of our game in the first 8-9 rounds , suddenly over the last 3 weeks, our goalkicking accuracy is a big weakness 10-12 lost v Freo 7 points 8-13 def woeful horrible blues 17 points 8-18 def pies 4 points It cost us v Freo with simple chances squandered It didn’t cost us v Blues because they were horrible It nearly cost us v Pies (my cardiologist is expecting me in today !!! ) I think we kicked 4-9 from set shots Some players seem almost timid, scared to take the shot. Trac has a real confidence problem imv although his two shots v pies were on 45 and perhaps the hardest of the day. Other days he wants to pass it even when he’s inside 40 Fritsch is probably our best kick for goal and he’s still the one that I’m most confident with ball in hand, though lately even his kicking is trending more 50/50. Choco’s kicking training should be directed towards goalkicking over the bye break. Accurate goalkicking will be CRITICAL for the remainder of the year as we are so close to another flag and can’t afford for this to be a thorn. ps - stop the players spinning it , twisting it and moving the footy side to side… straight levers and biomechanics simply work
  8. Spargo - obviously Goodys lovechild Spargo - not doing enough Chandler Pickett Spargo - can’t play all Chandler Pickett Spargo - zero goals today Chandler Pickett Spargo- one must go Umps - need new specs JVR - nearly nearly nearly Dees - improve goalkicking please Trac - get new boots Tommo & Mcvee & Riv & Hibbo & Jake & May - fantastic defence today Max - must do more Jack Viney - we love you Grundy - we love you Neale Daniher - we love you big freeze fundraiser - find a cure
  9. Great to see Tomlinson amongst most DLanders votes. He was very good today. Solid defensive effort. Good marks. Hit targets by hand and foot. Had the height and physical nature to play on Cox and Cameron. Allowed May to play on Mihocek.
  10. Easy. 6 Viney daylight 5 Tomlinson 4 Salem 3 Rivers 2 Fritsch 1 Lever these guys played good games and showed tremendous guts but not May - captain fumbles too many dropped marks - otherwise stopped Mihocek for 119 minutes not Trac - he’s a star but 25% efficient by foot is sub par and needed to kick goals not Smith - missed that shot and despite his defensive forward role, I think he was ok not Hunter - too many turnovers which is hurting us - he did a very good job overall and probably in our best not Brayshaw - too many turnovers which is hurting us - he did a very good job overall and probably in our best
  11. 8-18 Goalkicking was like junior footy weak as Should have smashed them but
  12. Ffs. He’s really frustrating
  13. Goalkicking!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
  14. 3rd ✅Viney Rivers Lever May 🤔Trac - kicking is a problem 🤮🤮Spargo and Pickett. Are they playing ???
  15. Markov tried to break the tackles. Umps you are farkkkkkkkn ridiculous
  16. Petracca. If he had more composure and skill, he’d be elite. But he’s star.
  17. 2nd ✅Gawn. Salem. May. Mcvee. Tomlinson Hibbo but 🤮missed shots JVR. FRITSCH 🤮 🤮stop Nick Daicos 🤮Joel smith 🤮kozzzy trying pack specckkkies 🤬🤬 Petracca has to lift !!!!!! Two misses. 20% kicking efficiency. He is a star. But no superstar yet. Footskills are average.
  18. 1st qtr 🤮Hunter turnovers x 2 🤮Brayshaw turnover x2 incl HB into Grundy back 🤮Chandler and Grundy and Pickett easy misses physical pressure better as qtr went using some corridor
  19. Hunter turnovers x 2 Brayshaw turnover x2 incl HB into Grundy back skills. Ffs pies 2 goals to nil
  20. Hunter. Ffs !!’ Turnover. Ffs
  21. Goody 1- stoppages 2- embrace the corridor. Collingwood love the corridor. Stop them and rebound 3- pressure and turnovers ummm that’s a huge challenge today how what about - tackling - goal kicking - skills and targets as well - quicker ball movement When it’s all said and done , more is said than done Go Dees
  22. Agree. He’s one to definitely nominate and get on the list. But hopefully see him as a later draft pick.
  23. Yes I agree with posts about Deakyn Smith. I’d like to see him keep on developing. Overall he’s improved so far this year. However at the moment, he’s still not a lock to stay on the list.
