The article has a number of recruiters slamming our non development. This is the crux of our problems and not one person in the MFC has explained to members why this is so. Not one person in the MFC is prepared to take responsibility for not developing our players. There are many people currently on the club payroll and many previously who are paid good money for absolutely zero return on field over the last 6 years. ZERO RETURN folks, that's what your membership money is going to.......ZERO RETURN.

The AFL CEO really is getting on my nerves. Now publicly supporting his mate Evans at every turn, and serving it up to all other clubs about rumours and the bombers. His outspoken support for Essendon is way over the top and he is looking very stupid. Stuff this goose...other clubs are allowed opinions. Dimwit behaves like a schoolboy bully and its about time he left the building.

Can anyone explain how this mob have advanced in speed and body shape quicker than any other team in the competition? But hang on - They just happen to have the best coach in the AFL whose pre-season methods are far superior to any other team!

Neelds comments after the Brisbane game were really defeatist. He needs to show some real mongrel when we lose. Enough of the mamby pamby stuff.

I will tell you how bad it is. Supporters have posted on this site that they will accept a 70 point loss to Carlton FFS! Speaking for myself - I hate this mentality and at this level of AFL Winning is Everything! Anyone who accepts mediocrity at the MFC please do yourself and everyone else a huge favour...move onto something else in life. Our culture MUST change urgently...and that includes supporters who accept the status quo year after year.

So what? Neeld still has his group playing for him. Playing what? Blind freddy can see that Neelds style cannot be understood. Bring in the Casey coach, he seems to be getting the message across and has a better win loss record so far this year. Frankly, Neeld is taking far too long to show any improvement. It is just dumbfounding.

Nicholson is all talk and no action...leave him out please. I take it Viney and Toumpas will be practising with the beast Hogan at Casey.

How about the selected players this week play football that is watchable , now that would be welcome.

Actually prefer to watch our younger guys in these circumstances than listen to the MFC being slagged off every week for inept quality football! It's all relative buddy.

Much more enjoyment than going o the AFL. I will be watching them again this week.

I'm a NJ fan and he works his guts out for this club, However if Jonesy and JT and the others want to play finals during their careers with the MFC, THEN FFS get your collective poo together and pull your finger out and play a brand of football that we all will respect.

Hmmmm...being devils advocate here I am also suspicious about the bombers and their explanations about the letter scenario. This team wanted an edge and have come out of the blocks over the last 2 years. Call me suspicious and I am not on the poor Essendon Team. I just don't buy Essendons story altogether.

Neeld had everything going for him when he arrived at this club. He got what he demanded with the football department and then he had to deal with some very sad news with Jimmy passing. Here is my rub regarding Neeld and the current administration. At the start of 2013 Neeld had near a full fit list who apparently trained the house down over summer. This list under Neeld had 12 months grace after Jimmys passing to get itself in shape. Neeld stated that the tanking dramas had little effect on his summer program. IMO if Neeld the so-called teacher could not harness this group after the passing of one of the club greats, Then [censored] me! Instead, the players are performing worse than 2012 and the football department is a total shambles. This list is weak in mind and ability to perform on the big stage. Neeld is showing no ability on match day to improve performance and supporters are on the brink of giving up. It's serious stuff, it's urgent stuff.

Actually if this is what they proposed on radio tonite it is really a low act by these 2 people. They remind me of the school bullies who take pleasure by kicking someone in the head while they are having a heart attack.

Demon hater Healy and his joke of a sidekick belong in an age long passed. They work for a neo conservative right wing radio station full of right wing commentators. That's just one reason why I would never tune in.

This whole thing with Neeld and Bailey before him is crucifying the supporter base. I DO NOT want to hear anymore spin from Neeld. Neeld has made some massive bad decisions since arriving and has shown no ability to coach so far. All of our best young players are playing bad football under Neeld. He is unlikely to be sacked yet...but he will be sacked. The urgency for the MFC to get its house in order cannot be understated. This playing list and football department are corrupting the whole competition.

Does it really matter while Neeld is in charge on match day? It's just a matter of how much we are thrashed. It's the truth folks, why bother about ins and outs when we are led by such a farce of a football department.

The thing that really saddens me is JT. Arrived at the club and immediately showed why he was a pick 2, committed to this club and bleeds red and blue. Sadly Injured but that's not my beef. Neeld has put Jack in a shocking position that has set his football back years. It's very sad for such a young talent. This club needs midfielders by the dozen with talent. Poor Jonesy works his arse off but is just a grunter. We have the making of a really good forward setup, but its all bloody useless if we don't have elite star mids.

Bloody hell this club needs a saviour as a matter of urgency..Peter Jackson has his work cut out. Neelds teams are simply awful to watch, it's a disgrace to the MFC jumper that we are unwatchable.

Supported Neeld until this weekend, now I am done with him and this is why. Any coach with smarts would have had Beamer sat on from the first bounce. Neeld has lost the plot and all our top draft picks are going from bad to worse. I don't support sacking a coach in-season but he is damaging the development of our top draft picks...what can be done to stop the rot?

Neelds mantra to the supporters and all in sundry is defeatist. Other lists have young players, other lists are developing, this [censored] must stop. Just get your players to play football that brings people through the gate to watch FFS. Stop feeding the crap to the masses.

HT take a deep breath mate. We are all going through a lot of anguish with our football club and the sport we all love. I will try and ease up on new threads but while on topic I simply cannot see any genuine improvement in the way this group play their football under Neeld. Actually I like Mark Neeld as a bloke and still have a tiny bit of faith, but bloody hell it is a shocking standard of football to watch each and every week. 6 years of bloody terrible football to watch. Neeld has shown very very little in their style of play which excites me. Back to my original point....where is the improvement? It is a legitimate question...I reckon only those supporters with their heads in the sand would see otherwise.
