This latest decision to sanction Joel Selwood clearly demonstrates the degree the AFL will go in changing the face of our national game. To me it demonstrates how some people on our planet believe it is their god given right to tell us how to live our lives. This decision and many others by the thought police at the AFL simply astound me. It is time the average bloke and Sheila fought back. Adrian Anderson should be the first thought plod to get on his bike. Our game is over regulated and gone beyond the thinking of reasonable people. Reasonable people are not in control of the AFL. It is time for change.

Deelerious ....and others who persist with this potential crap, we don't want potential anymore, we want the real deal. Stuff all this potential elite nonsense. Sylvia will never be elite.

After paying my membership for 35 years, I will reserve judgement until round 8 2013. Let down far too many times to get any level of excitement yet. Results equate to wins.

Don't get me wrong, I am a big chipper fan but his composure this year has been off. And some of you are harsh on Tom...I reckon he will go past chipper. It took chipper much longer to develop at the same age.

His work rate and lack of effort should not be tolerated any longer.

What a sorry list of guys playing at the highest level of our national game. Very very happy to see most of this B grade lot leave the club. Bring in more new guys who know something about the game. This is truly rubbish of the highest order.

Garland plays more ordinary games than good ones. He has been in the system for a long time. He has not taken the next step...much like most you have been at the club for more than 5 years. Sylvia pathetic lazy again.

I will say it again an again .....our culture stinks. 1964 -2012.....zero premierships. Bad culture for too long. My opinion full stop.

Not a Neeld bashing....it's our stinking culture. For those who dont feel duped after bottoming out more than once.....think again. If you still don't feel duped, your part of the problem not the solution.

Its a term most of us relate to during 2012 when we anticipated a climb up the ladder. Now with a handful of games left, the footy department is experimenting yet again in such a way our better players are not playing. Why turn up? It's going to be ugly. This football club has a lot of serious improving to do over the summer it it's to repay supporters faith. 6 years of sub-standard football. Neeld better have this group up and firing for 23 games next year, not the piddle amount of 2 or 3 . Our pre-seasons have been better to watch than the real season. The only reason I will go this week is to watch greeny run around otherwise it's just a joke.

There was 3 occasions today where Sylvia did not chase. I saw and heard some MFC powerbrokers giving it to him, our senior players just don't get it, their attitude in the modern game is deplorable.

I was there AGAIN to watch were you? As for Moloney, he was very good last year. He was belted today...far too slow. Don't fall into the amount of possessions equals quality carp!

Who cares anymore

Well articulated points however, if the MFC wants us humans to keep paying to watch this team, they will need to pull their collective fingers out very very quickly. The good will by supporters is currently parked outside the undertakers.

There is no point gilding the Lilly anymore. I have watched most games this season with and without our full list on the park. The standard is below what is expected for AFL. I watched today's game against the Kangas. It was a woeful performance, and Sylvias work ethic was pathetic. Him and Beamer should be on the trade table full stop. We don't have a midfield We don't have speed We don't have fitness despite recruiting a so called guru. Frawley has gone backwards and not a patch on his AA season Garland gets the yips far too much for his experience The MFC either has to recruit players who will bring supporters to the game or die as a club. It is that bad, it really is!! I will go around again next year but I will give it one more year.....in any language on this planet, this club cannot afford another year like this. The dark clouds are hovering. Recruiting has been a rolled gold mess.

Time for a supporter and member driven rebellion. The club is a laughing stock.

Well the rub has not changed all season. From round one this list and coaches have served up its loyal members and supporters the worst brand of football witnessed for many years. I can and will not accept the post game drivel that we will get from players, coaches and apologetic supporters. The list is playing a D grade brand of football and the coaching is not much better. Let's be candid here...winning games buys memberships. Why would anyone in their right mind buy a membership in 2013 based on what we have seen this year? The club is stealing our goodwill and money by default. and before the apologists jump down my throat....I pay thousands each year to this club. Never before have I felt so angry to say these things but everyone has a breaking point. Where is the improvement going to come from? Enough for this club to play finals? How many more coaches, how many more number ones in the draft, etc etc. Our club plays woeful football. Our list is full of players who are incapable of confidence and poise when under pressure. At this level of our national football code we are weighed down with some very ordinary choices at the draft table and the inability to teach them the basics of how to perform at the highest level. Simply shocking to watch.

Sloonie..cry babies? Well it might bloody surprise you....some of us have had a shyteful of this. Damn sick of apologists for bad football. Far too many of you types supporting this club.

We are so far behind in terms of ability it is tragic

This is worse than watching suburban footy. I am sick of B grade skills by MFC. They are pathetic to watch,.......either play at a standard for this level of get out..ffs

I might be new to this site, however I am amazed at the amount of apologists for poor demon performances. I believe Neeld will change things but he has inherited a B grade list. This must be an indictment on past recruiters coaches and administrators. Oh let's not forget those on the current list who should not be on an AFL list. And for those slow hand clappers who apologise every week for losing....please please get some mongrel as supporters...you appear just as bad as the Melbourne on field performances in 2012.

Watching again today even with the injuries..is simply horrible football at this level. Too many on our list cannot take there game to a higher level. The mistakes are the same every week, and it is plainly awful football to watch. I turned off the game halfway into the third quarter. If Neeld and the other powerbrokers at the club want people to watch in 2013, then it must be watchable footy!! I love my footy but for the first time in my life, I am being put off by what this team is NOT doing as a professional level football club. It's bloody bad to watch.
