We're about to find out if last week was just an aberration for an incredibly consistent team over the last few years ...or the start of something creaking and collapsing. I have no idea which way the dees are going nor how this match will go. My suspicion is this will be a closish match but also one we lose. I have distinct end of a golden era vibes about the 24 dees. But in saying that the Dees have made me incredibly proud the last few years...a bit more luck and we win 2 flags . Im not putting the boot in here at all...its just my sense. Hope Im wrong

yes it’s a terrible loss. The worst fr many years. But I’m honestly embarrassed to hear so much talk about sacking our only premiership coach since 64 and after 3 top 4 finishes. The coach is NOT the problem.

that puts things into some perspective. I wonder , aside from feeding the collingwood hype train with the inflow of dollars that comes with that etc, why would the AFL feel so adamant that he not get suspended?

Yes we do but not many we can actually pick. I suspect shache isn’t playing another game at the dees, BBB can maybe play a couple more but also may also be finished. Pettys injury may re flare… perhaps it already has. Fullerton is there but not yet in frame and jeffo may mot play til 25. So if Petty or JVR go down we have no one really that’s ready despite a list of names.

Thoughts on Mcadam. They consistently placed him as the deepest fwd today … i couldn’t figure it out. Surely he’s a small fwd not a tall? or is it all just fitness that as yet he doesn’t have? Doesn’t look ready for mine.

Some problems there ie How do get the collingwood / Carlton players off at finals time then? Where's the grey zone for the lawyers? Will never fly.

I think the perception is there because of the number of centre clearance goals they got … was it 5 on the night? Almost half there goals? killed our momentum.

Not sure about that. I think he meant attempting not to be swayed by the crowd.

I try to accept that it will take a few days…much longer for a final. It’s a slow process to emerge.
