I don't think so.....I think we made that mistake last year with Brayshaw and he was spent in the latter half of the year. All the youngsters will be rested at some stage Weiderman and Hulett were rested from the VFL in the last 2 weeks Petracca will also get a rest during the year. They are 18 or 19 years old with half a preseason behind them

A few years ago I went to LA and decided to take a day trip to Tijuana Mexico, after doing the tourist thing I decided to explore the back streets and was promptly arrested, handcuffed thrown against a wall and searched. All my belonging were strewn across the footpath by some of the local constabulary and I thought "What are my rights in Mexico? I don't think I had any. After it was decided that I was not a drug lord I was released and promptly went to a small bar to calm down. I then got on the bus for the return trip By the time I got to the US boarder I was in urgent need to relieve myself, after going through customs cross legged I found the 25 cents to use the McDonald mens room. When I came out my bus had taken off without me. As with all times of stress I proceeded to light up a dart and was tapped on the shoulder by the biggest Afro-American policeman I have ever seen and it was pointed out to me all the no smoking signs about the place. My bus then came back for me and proceed to take me to my hotel which was reminded me of the Bates Motel. I went in double locked the door, ignored the screams a few doors down and drank myself to sleep. So I'm up for the trip Earl.

WOW........Sorry if I had an opinion as it had nothing to do with your comment. Sometimes the other side is just better than yours on the day. You can get mad and stomp your feet all you like, throw a tanty and scream "I WAS RIGHT" It changes nothing... You aren't the coach last time I looked. I know Etihad is a fast track but it is a dry track as well, maybe they thought that we had enough speed and a taller forward line would work to our advantage as Hogan proved with his marking and the Saints not being that tall defensively. We have kicked 12.12 in a win 17.7 loss 20.11 win 16.6 win 20.9 win 15.6 loss This time last year we were struggling to kick 8 goals a game......Goals out the back are far more common these days so when the ball is turned over there is space behind the pack and ALL side are using it......Eddie Betts is third on the goal kicking list because of this. I have to laugh at posters, and I know that DL is a place for people to vent their anger or laud our team as the next great thing but seriously after one bad game Dunn(who people whinged because he didn't play in the first two games are whinging that he played last week) Posters blaming the coach, the players, the ground, the selection. Attack is the way things are going these days and I love it, otherwise we could go back to the Ross Lyon way of things and be bored stupid for half the game. We will lose more games because of this but we will win a few as well We have won 2 games in a row and many posters were struggling to make changes to the team.....One week later we are hopeless and people are making 5 or 6 changes. and blaming the footy dept for not making the changes in HINDSIGHT. Stupid Coaches

North play 3 tall forwards (Petrie, Waite and Brown) to great effect but none of them are what you would call fast. They seem to be going alright at the moment but it will be interesting how they go against the speedy Dogs tonight at the dome where the roof will be closed. Big men don't get shorter during a game

While I agree somewhat Jack, I think it is a bit different this time around. I don't expect him to be best on ground, but I expect him to play his role within the team. I think it is the media which is driving the hype and not our club which is different to previous saviours. I think that the club made him earn his place and held him back whereas other coaching depts. would have unveiled him to promote the club. Anyhow.....Good luck to the kid.
