I will agree to disagree........You call him a show pony because he takes screamers. He also takes strong marks in the back line and kicks goals when forward. I will bookmark your post and get back to you mid year. Stats tell you who has the ball, how many times and what they do with it. This games takes many elements. You can hate him all you like P.S. If you saw him break his finger, you can then call him a liar. Typical ex MFC player bagger.

Saturday Talking Point: The NAB Challenge
Bossdog replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Wow....White has played one game and Wagner is still a rookie -
Was 4th in marks taken for the club 2015 and was also 4th in intercepts and kicked 10 goals for the season.....Kicked some great goals and took some great marks Also played 100 games for the club and kicked 80 goals and played all 22 games last year. I know that any player that leaves us is now considered rubbish after they leave but I think we will miss him throughout the year.

Wow.......I just don't believe the animosity toward Howe Blokes calling him a liar, like they were there, and saw what happened. People canning him for helping out his side playing cricket. Don't they know that players can't do anything outside of football 24/7 Players have broken legs getting out of the shower. Players cut there knees with chain saws (Harvey). Players fall over in their holidays and break ankles I reckon we should snap freeze them after the footy season and then thaw them out in time for Pre season, after all they are getting big money. Well..... I know it's hard to believe but players are actually human and have other interests. The media on this story is just unbelievable. Did he do his finger playing cricket OR playing with his dog?????? Wait for the next exciting instalment when we interview the dog.

I'm the opposite Jack........I like to see what the other clubs are doing, watching their young blokes and try to get feel of how their going. It's also just great to have the footy back in the media and on our TV's -

Why..... It's legal. Look I don't like all the odds spouting up every five minutes but they are entitled to advertise their products whenever and through what medium they like. Unless the country has turned to Communism whilst I wasn't looking. -
Saturday Talking Point: Gillon McLachlan has lost the plot

Most NFL teams are privately owned by people who have millions of dollars to spare so they can afford not to rely on gambling Gambling has been going on since the cave man.....You are not going to stop it. If it were banned it would just go underground. I am not a gambler.....I have enough problems watching the dees without my money being put on the line. -
Yes.....I lost interest last summer and the one before that........Until they bounced the ball at the start of the season.....Then it is different somehow, all the bull**** is gone and the real stuff starts. Then I can come on here and be told who is a Brownlow medallist, who we will cut after one game, why Watts is good/hopeless, Grimes have every mistake underlined and bolded. You know......Normal footy stuff. And follow my Supercoach and Dreamteam sides and realise I have too many Melb players in it. Can't wait

Jamar was all set to play for St Kevins in the Amos whilst doing part time ruck coach at the Bombers. Essendon have obviously talked him into joining as a top up player. For a lot more cash. I can't understand why people bag him for this. Please don't tell me it is on moral grounds otherwise the dons would not be able to field a side.

I often wonder about posters on this site Jessie Hogan doesn't smile.............It must mean he's going back to WA Jack Watts has a laugh at training.............Must have a crap attitude. I am working on a robot that sort of half smiles at training..........Means he is half happy to be out there but doesn't want to go anywhere. Should keep everyone happy.

What is your favourite TV/Radio commentary team?
Bossdog replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
I thought Ian Robinson was a great commentator and going right back.........Jack Edwards They just called the play as it happened....Called the right players.........None of the 'Special Comments' men explaining what happened 4 plays ago and what they should have done (dermi is the worst at that.) -
As do all supporters of all teams, SWYL. Emotion has a lot to do with that. Phil Walsh, Jimmy Stynes, Troy Broadbridge, The whole football world got emotional You get emotional about past office bearers of our Footy Club. We have no more easy games or send off games than anyone else in the comp. Players come and players go, some times I am saddened, sometimes I don't care but I love the players that put on the jumper week after week and give all they have. Sometimes it is just not enough to win. If we all didn't have a passion for the club, then why do we discuss/argue/bicker about it on here it on here?

The "emotional game" is what footy is all about. The fans get "emotional"....The players get "emotional"....The media get "emotional" If you take "emotion" out of the games, you may as well play with robots and go and have a cup of tea on Saturday afternoon. There wouldn't be a need for demonland or any other football site. It what footy is all about, otherwise we wouldn't bother yelling at games, booing the opposition, calling the umps cheats ect ect

Just watching our last game against GWS on a lazy Sunday afternoon and wondered which players were missing from that game Dawes + Frost ? Hunt - Jetta + Jones. M - Kent + Lumumba + Pederson ? Petracca ? Spencer - Terlich - Trengove ? Tyson + Vanderburg + Watts + + = would be selected ? = Maybe - = Not in our best team Just interesting, I thought. It seems we have improved our depth P.S. Doesn't include new players to the club

Trouble is Middy.....It was so long ago that you can't be sure if it happened or you just imagined it.

Christian Petracca's toe injury (in full training)

OH oh ... See the boys went surfing yesterday ... don't they know that they could cut their feet on rocks ... get a surfboard flying into the back of their heads ... get taken by sharks ... pull muscles getting on the boards ... break their necks getting dumped by the waves Oh it's ok ... club sanctioned ... JUST DON'T PLAY BASKETBALL IN YOUR SPARE TIME ... far too dangerous. -
I I find it interesting that when a poster dislikes a player, they can only see the mistakes that player makes but none of the good things they do. If said player has five nice passes out of defence or provides space for someone to kick to, it goes unmentioned, but as soon as one mistake is made, all hell breaks loose. Nev Jetta had the same things said about him a few years ago and now he is one of the first picked. I used to feel the same about Jamie Bennell yet when a few of my favorites made stupid mistakes I would pass it off as a one of. Grimes is still on our list after a couple of struggling years. So therefore I will back him in until the club says otherwise. P.S. I don't hold Grimes totally responsible for the Carlton and Freo losses.......You seem to.

Well.....There goes her accreditation .....Oh wait......... She doesn't have one, so she can say what she wants, without the AFL coming down on her. Go Rita

Why? They will have get their top up players from somewhere. Another year of an AFL wage beats the hell out of wages in the minor league.
