Wow.....The overreaction to this injury is mind blowing. We have posters wanting to fine a player for an injury, other posters stating he must have been doing something stupid without knowing the circumstances. Posters writing off the career of a player.....Posters becoming Doctors with diagrams of feet. And I say how DARE he go outside when not required to by the footy club. Doesn't he know that all 20 year old footballers sit on the couch and play X box, I just don't know what he was thinking. Doesn't he know that it's a dangerous world out there? Seriously, I jagged my hamstring walking the dog 3 days ago. That's it never walking him again. (It had nothing to do with my age ....Honest) You cannot wrap players in cotton wool and they have to have other interests than football 24/7.

Yep they do their best work during the season.......Clarkson lucky to not be charged with assault and Hodge being charged with exceed .05% These players have families which are very important to them and the club. It doesn't seem a huge deal in the big picture. A lot of the players don't get paid as much as you think.

It is Jan the 5th ..... very hard to put words into actions when we are 2 months from playing a game in anger. All clubs, at this time of the year have puff pieces to keep their club members in touch and there will be many more before the games start. Get used to it

Played 11 games in his first year on the list......Often as the sub which equates to a quarter here and a quarter there. Did some very good things in matches and also panicked a few times as he got used to the tempo. I feel that he will be a very good player for us in the future. He is only nineteen.

I was more referring to the "You can't be a superstar without proving it in finals" There have been a lot of "ss" players who have failed dismally in finals Anyway no problems.....I will leave it at that

Not trying to pick a fight but there are some champions that didn't play finals Trevor Barker 230 games Gary Hardiman 224 games Bob Skilton 217 games three Brownlows 1 Final Kevin Murray though I think he played a couple of finals. Finals do not always make the superstar.

Bobby Skilton was a superstar.....Played 1 finals game Robbie Flower was a superstar.....Played three finals games There are so many superstars who for what ever reason, their team was not good enough to make finals.

It appears that you have to be popular amongst demonlanders to merit a life membership these days. If that's the case give CP5 and Jessie theirs now......They are the most promising and popular players and they deserve it. It doesn't matter that one has not played a game or that the other has played just 20. Sometimes the mentality of some of the posters on this site just gives me the shits. Time for a drink.

The games he played were less value than Howe and I know he had his injuries. Or maybe we tampered with Dunn's to get him in the top 10 to up his value. I am sorry that Howe is gone, but I'll live with the decision and I'm sure that there were others that did not play well for four quarters.

Top ten in our best and fairest for the past 4 years......Took the most intercept marks for the club. He had his faults but so does Jessie Hogan I loved his screamers and will miss him playing for us. I guess I will watch C'wood more this year because of them.
