You are right Steve.........But you know Demonland.......If someone has a bit of a off year, Trade em.... Everybody says "Develop the players" but only give them one year.....If they can't be champ by then.....Cut them off the list OR Trade MacKenzie, M Jones etc for Pendlebury Ablett,Fyffe et al I hate the silly season.....It is about to come in two weeks and I have to read about all the wishful trades that have not a hope in hell of coming off. It has already started in the media and the finals are still two weeks away.

I wouldn't get too excited about players wages......The money that players get is unknown except for the player, the club, the player manager All monies quoted in the media are complete guesswork unless you have a peek at their group certificate. Just all media hype

Oh please He was part of the reason for the Debt Demolition ie saving this club........Spent a huge amount of time organising fund raisers at the Dee's and casey. He played his football for Melbourne and Coached Freo into the finals for the first time in their history So please enlighten me that he has no AFL level traits, substance or relevance. Yes he may have made some mistakes(Who hasn't) but he put his heart and soul into the Melbourne Footy Club. It's so easy to sit behind a keyboard and knock people who have contributed to the club in ways you can only dream of. You only show your ignorance.

The thing that gets me is that there are a lot of young people who die through accidents, illness, and other means. and they are all tragic.......How many footballers or other sportsmen and women have died at their respective sports? Does their game change because of it??....No I have found the media reports about Phil Hughes death over the top It is a tradedy but so are other young persons deaths who do not get the same coverage or reverence because they didn't play for Aust.

I think I remember David Williams being delisted and was to be re drafted as a rookie after he was injured......Richmond then picked him up......Didn't work out for them but it could happen again....

I didn't go to one game this year OD.....Watched on tele or just got the scores on the computer I always thought soccer was frustrating and boring....well footy is becoming the same.....No goals in quarters or halfs , players that I really liked...Gone. I will remain a member but find going to the footy a bore.

The way things are going, there will be club legends no more..... Free agency will kill it off Gone are the days that players stick by a club for better or worse and be remembered as a champion of the club I hate the way the AFL is at the moment....Great Hawthorn champs ie, Dunstan, Hudson, Bartlett at Richmond, Farmer and Goggin at Geelong All champions of their clubs Soon players will be called champs.....Not CLUB champs It's a sad state of affairs.

Late last year I went to the US(New York)....Took a quick flight to Niagra falls.......Very cold for Oct/Nov A couple of weeks later I saw a newpaper article and photo where the falls had frozen over.....The place where I had been sitting taking photos was covered in ice and snow and icicles hanging from the hand rails Now that's cold.

Just back from Bali......Managed to see the games in a few sports bars.....Coming back to this freezing weather after sitting on the beach wearing shorts and singlets and drinking beers has warts all over it
