That was beautiful. Those players would have made Andrew's heart swell - imagine the thrill for him. You can really see guys like Harmes, Hibberd, Gawn, Hunt look after him.

All players have their own boot deals and have had for some time - collective bargaining agreement

Went past around 8:30am. Rehab or 'other' group out doing running early. Pedro, JKH, Viney, Trenners, T Mac, Hannan, Maynard, King, Vanders. Not pushing it too hard, but Trenners moving at a good clip compared to some of the others in the sprint legs. Legs looking much stronger and more defined. Looks in good shape to me. Hannan a bit bigger in person than that early club photo suggests.

Great reporting from you two. Thanks very much.

Got a pair myself. They are great. In it with 2 non football mates. Seems like they're doing really well.

Love it - can't comprehend how club finds it so hard

New Major Sponsor: Automotive Holdings Group (AHG)
Swooper replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes there will be a new back of jumper sponsor. Not sure if it is locked away, but a bit going on apparently. -
That is a great jumper

Respect to all above. Can someone please post the article for those without HS access?

Have been past Gosh's on 3-4 occasions over the break and Maynard was working 1-on-1 with Cross.

I ride past AAMI / Anderson St each day on way to work. I've seen Melksham 3-4 times doing some very hard running, repeat 250's and sprints up Anderson St - all on his own. Am sure their are many doing it, but he looks very lean and fit.

Would love to know what training Killer Watts is doing in LA.

Went past Gosch's this morning. Billy Stretch, Bugg, Mitch White all doing some hard running under eye of Misso and Viney. Crossy there too with another guy I have seen him running with a bit recently. Not a listed player. Very solid, blond hair. Wonder if it is a rookie prospect they are putting some time in to.

Scott Thompson - Would we welcome him back?

Spotted Shane Woewodin walking in to AAMI Park in his suit. -
Per Caro's article, they were all highly aware that the illicit drugs could well contain a prohibited substance like the Collingwood boys. Hence why trying to stay out of the testers way.

Poor old Burgo got booted from the last Roos Views as a send off.
-
Interested to hear Watts mention Tami Roos in that interview with Triple M too. Seems she has helped to calm him, while Macca & co have toughened him up.

Twenty-two is very young. Viney will mature a lot over the coming years, but have to say what is the rush? Sure he might say all the right things, but he's still a kid. Time and experience will teach him that. Chunk has a bit of time left. Watts certainly is a leader. Watch him with the boys at training. As Mahoney has said, by showing what he is on the field he is backing up his natural ebullient manner with clutch actions.
-
I had a conversation recently with a member of the clubs staff. He said make no mistake, Roos is the master operator and he and PJ are the keys to the club wide improvement. He said Goodwin will bring his own strengths, but it will be very hard to cover Roos and the respect and direction he brings across the club.
-
Absolutely P-man. I'd be delighted to see him get a good run and completely turn his fortunes around.

Someone related to Grimes. It looks like you're most likely right about them moving on from him but from what I was told he loves the club but also has other things in his life he'd happily move on to aswell....
-
Just relaying a conversation I had with someone who knows him well. Re: Watts I think you'll find the context was that he was nowhere to be seen on leaderboard....As for Nibbler, he's a second year player but he is a natural leader....Good onya
-
Have been told that Grimes called Roos out on a matter some time ago and Roos was not happy and ego has been a big part of him not getting a game. Likely to retire at years end.

Mark Stevens @Stevo7AFL 4m4 minutes ago Suspension irrelevant for Viney ... Can confirm has hand injury, needs surgery, out 3-4 weeks .. @7NewsMelbourne

Surely that time he took down Caro would get a run?
