PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 13th December 2024
I only stopped for 15-20mins while on my way through but Pickett was in it a lot, as the key link through midfield. Using pace, run & carry, and kicking to open up play. Jefferson took 2 x strong marks, one contested and kicked 2.1 while I was there. He look to be benefiting from the quick ball movement.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 2nd December 2024
One that I noted was Windsor went down with the backs today for one of the drills.

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
I'd love Jackson as President (finish what he started) and Mahoney as CEO (would make a great team)

Welcome to Demonland Kynan Brown
I chatted with someone in the know at training a couple of weeks ago and indicated that as you suspect, opposing clubs normally let a father-son prospect slide through if they are not top-end talent, hence how we got him easily. This club contact really rated the way he plays and also commented on his character being first rate. No surprise being the son of Doggy. A lot to like about him.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 24th January 2024
Popped in for a look. They had a trainer 1:1 working Jefferson over hard. Clearly trying to rough him up and increase physicality. Lever right into him ever time, revving the big fella up!

PRESEASON TRAINING: Closed Sessions at Casey until 2024
I went past on Monday post time trial and they did a lot of full ground transition work. It was outnumber play, but they were definitely practicing moving the ball quickly inboard through the corridor and as as another poster said, having a couple of options deep. No bombing down the line/to the pocket to be seen. It was very fun to watch.

Training and Trackwatching
I was riding past Gosch's on my way into town and there were 12-15 of the boys doing a kicking drill with Chocco and Yze overseeing. I think on Tuesdays and Thursdays they have 'craft' sessions at Gosch's. It is not worth a trip specifically, but if in the area always good to check out on the way through.

Requesting Casey Home Games
Won't happen. Caro said last night that games need to be played at MCC or Docklands because of LCD signage/stadia advertising - keeping any revenue stream they can afloat.

Trevor Hendy & Mark Visser at the MFC
I presume going some work around breath holding (remember Tracc and his hypoxic blackout last year?) and mindset work, which is what Hendy does now. He has previously worked with the Saints as well.

TRAINING: Monday 10th February 2020
Stopped past for 5mins on way through only to see Hibbo go off with what seemed like a calf and Vanders also hobbling away from Gosch's. Not ideal.

Big Maxy - wicket keeper
He does. Mate of my played against him recently. Goody to 3/17 or the like. Goes alright, apparently.

TRAINING: Monday 2nd December 2019
I stopped for 5-10mins on my way past. Doing some match simulation clearing the ball from defence. Was fairly willing. Tracc the stand-out for mine again. Looking forward to a more detailed post from someone who was there longer - there was a reasonable crowd.

2020 AFL Fixture
Word is we play GWS in Rd 2. Not exactly a soft start to the season.

Future Father-Sons/Daughters
He's got 3 boys. He and Anthony's boys play together and both dominate. All in good time though.

No White for MFC Clash Jumpers for Season 2018
We’ll make a GF and be forced to wear the clash. Jones to hold the cup aloft wearing the #2 coming full circle from Robbie Flower and the dark years, thereby ending the Norm Smith curse.

The Urge to Merge
The final round merger game was one of the greats. Played with great passion and intensity. I still remember my sorrow thinking I had perhaps for the last time seen my beloved Demons. Even though we have not achieved success since them, I am still grateful to Don Scott for leading Hawthorn to a no.

Blazer Glory
Love the blazers. Scwabby put a pic of an old blazer up on twitter about 18 months ago and I replied saying with the want to assert our heritage it would be good to have the boys in them. Who know, perhaps the sowing a seed. Good on him though.
