Ross Lyon analysis of lack of scoring
I love both of them but they are both poor decision makers. I know Gawny may be trying to lead by example but he has got to stop going to ground to win the contested ball when Clarrie, Viney, Harmes or Brayshaw are right beside him. Jack is an inside bull and you never die wondering but needs to know his limitations

CLARKSON RATES US
Can someone ask him if he thinks Goodwin and Mahoney are the right guys?

Is Mahoney the right guy?
I know for a fact we were trying to trade back into the first round. @dazzledavey36 could not have made it any clearer. He was fairly transparent in what he was saying that we were hoping to get into the first round of the 2018 draft ( we gave up our initial first rounder for Lever and our Hogan pick for May) to get Butters who was still on the board, it's got nothing to do with Port letting him go now we were hoping to get him before they did Edit. @drysdale demon I just read your post#55 so disregard

I would have chased Caracella hard as senior assistant, I'm still undecided on Goody, people who say there's been no change are off the mark. Results may still be disappointing but the players are trying to hold the ball a little to long to try and hit up a target. The forward line is looking to have been made a little more mobile, but whilst we're not at last years coversion % for inside 50s, it's still not great. The defence needs continuity and unfortunately father time has caught up with Nev. I couldn't care less about the North trade, I like what I have seen in Kossie, Rivers and Jackson. Trades - The North trade happy Lever - was showing goods signs before the knee but needs continuity although IMO the price was to high May - turned up unfit but as above but after 2018 was desperately needed Langdon and Tomlinson for me a little to early to call but like the 2 way running which we hadn't had previously My hope was to target Casboult ( as posted on Dland) when he was OOC to give Tmac a chop out whilst Weid stayed in the VFL for another year or so, but such is life

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Tomlinson runs both ways, Salem doesn't and I'm not sure Hunt does enough either

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs Richmond
I like the line up Wise but wouldn't give Trac 90% through the middle. I'd certainly play him in bursts but have him roaming around forward of centre more often than not because his strength and decision making will create opportunities out of nowhere. Clarrie, Jack, Harmes and Gus need to do the major work through the middle B. Lockhart May Lever HB. Rivers Smith Hibberd C. Langdon Viney Tomlinson HF. Trac Tmac Fritsch F. Hannan Weid Pickett R. Gawn, Clarrie, Gus I/C. Harmes, Hunt, Salem, Bennell In. Weid & Bennell Out. Melk, AVB

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Good summation Titan, I'm disappointed with another loss especially given the basic errors to gift 3 goals in a close game. I'm holding my judgment till I see a run of 4 to 5 continuous games under the belt. I don't think there will be to many more changes till we start settling on a 22, another tall forward may come in, but you're right with us needing to get some continuity

CHANGES: Rd 05 vs Richmond
The defence was better today, Lockhart for Jetta maybe, but Jetts was pretty poor in his 2 outings this year. Tmac looked better today presented better. AVB could go not sure we need 2 talls at the SCG

TEAMS: Rd 04 vs Geelong
Wasn't referring to you Rjay, I expect he will be managed and 50% game time is a gamble if you lose players through injury and have younger players in the side

Tom McDonald - How long do we wait?
Let's not rewrite history to suit the narrative Our defence badly needed fixing, defence is what wins you premierships, we went on a nice run in 2018 without Hogan but let's be honest we weren't really up there with the top 3 other sides. and and here are some facts Hogan wanted to get back to Perth, Melbourne did not move him on, but they saw an opportunity to fix our biggest deficiency. Watts needed to be moved and you will find a big call and say was made by the leadership group, in this. A big statement re committment by senior players was required

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 02
6. Trac- was the difference they couldn't touch him 5. Clarrie- pretty much beat Crips for all but 10mins, used the ball well today 4. Gawn - set it up early with silver service and was important with intercept marks behind the footy 3. Hunt - proved his selection was worthy with 3 snags and covering a lot of ground 2. Langdon- ran hard provided a link and was very important at running back to shut down Blues quick rebound in the last 1.Rivers - made good decisions was composed with the ball and wasn't afraid to break the lines

Kennett's Letter to Hawks Members
I think we are safe Swyl by virtue of them needing 16 teams for decent TV rights deal. We've come a long way since 2012 but need to continue and not rest on our laurels

Pickett & Spargo Break COVID Restrictions
Yes ET, that is correct he had a very good 1st season but either way didn't deserve some of the responses but BBP and others of his ilk just continues to show a complete lack of class
