How is not being able to give away a Premiership FB so Melbourne he’s the only one we’ve had in 57 years,- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
WAFL Colts Grand Final this Sunday South Fremantle vs Claremont Some Draft prospects for this and next year on the Big Stage South Fremantle Whan -25 Half back/mid Rodrigues-25 mid Robison-26 mid Foster- 26 Ruck Wilson-26 med def Claremont Curtin-25 Tall Fwd Hopkins-25 overager defender C.Banfield -25 mid/fwd Van Rooyen-26 Ruck Gale-26 Half back/wing/mid H.Banfield-26 mid/fwd Braun-26 wing Mellody-26 half back Should be a good contest- The Marcus Windhager Thread
Think you nailed it with his ability to defend stoppage, holds position and moves offensively when the time is right. I like getting him in for midfield balance. Personally think he’s got plenty as a midfielder in terms of tank, shut down and hurt the other way simultaneously which is very underrated At the right price a yes- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
He’s back training getting himself ready for 2026, which I think will see him if not taken prior will see a club take him next year. Has pace, game sense, good overhead mark and can play the big bodied mid roll. I’d take him in a heartbeat- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
No, not related at all fwd/mid only moved to Perth from Broome this year.- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Jay Hill is a player a few clubs are interested in. Hasn’t played all season but had scouts all over him after BOG performance in the Colts super round in pre season. Had a PCL injury I think it was- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
He’s not outstanding but think he’ll be a decent without being a great player. Farrow is the most dangerous by foot of all the WA boys, with Swadling the one who knows how to find it, but he lacks the ability to defend. 2026 and 2027 will be better drafts from WA- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
People in the know will tell you the success Harvey had at Freo was very much down to Chris Scott- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I think he’s a decent player big bodied mid strong tank and can use the ball well both feet, no real X factor but IMO will play a lot of footy at the next level. South Freo have a very strong senior side, which he hasn’t been able to break into- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Dyson Sharp to me looks the one I would take first round if we could clean, good skills and vision. Really like what Ihave seen- Judd McVee Contract
Why wouldn’t we,think about it did Gawn and Jackson work well together As great as he’s been the end for Gawn is coming sooner rather than later- Judd McVee Contract
Yes my thoughts exactly- Steven May's Future
100% ^^^^ this is the Geelong model unless you’re exceptional. They take time with their players on average 2 years VFL and they step into a system based team. Yes they have their guns and keep replenishing with the mature ones whilst continuing to develop the soldiers. It is IMO the best policy to have- Judd McVee Contract
Freo are still playing and Jackson back to Melbourne is still doing the rounds with Judd involved in some way. Can’t see it myself but bubbling away under the surface- POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Bulldogs desperate for experienced defender. Get on the phone and make it happen.- GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
They brought their Fn toys- 4 years ago
I was at a footy club 50th anniversary dinner occasionally checking the scores and at 1 stage in the second half were 41 points down. I thought that’s that a mate on my table said a bit later ou won. I was shocked and enjoyed watching the replay the next morning. Living in WA the next month was a very special time.- Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
You’re using logic when quoting PF, they don’t go together- PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
I think you need to stop behaving like the petulant child who didn’t get what they wanted and threw his toys out of the cot. You blamed Goodwin for everything before, well clearly the other coaches and specifically the forward coach probably realise where your lovechild is in the pecking order. First of all Petty and JVR have been good the last two weeks, Petty probably played his best game of the season last week and maybe just maybe they are getting some cohesion together with Fritsch, 3rd best functioning forward line since the bye. I didn’t agree with Jeffo being dropped when Goody last dropped him but there’s no reason to change things now. I’m still unsure whether he makes it or not, shows glimpses and liked his game against Brissy last week but he isn’t exactly banging the door down or showing the intensity and second efforts on a regular basis to demand selection. You would drop Mcvee, who whilst not at 23 and 24 level is playing better than earlier in the season yeah lots drop him whilst he’s showing better signs and we’re trying to get him to sign. Viney whilst he has several limitations needed to be in the mid rotation with Clarry if you’re playing Trac fwd more and want to blood Windsor inside against a gun midfield group. We know what we have with Woey, sorry to say he ain’t making it. I think the line needs to go through Laurie as a mid and he needs to be tried elsewhere he’s not an AFL mid. Brown has endeavour but decision making with ball in hand and disposal are still a way off. Kentfield I love him, know him, coached against and coached him, he’s coming along nicely. Will not be hampered in terms of development by not debuting yet and getting a full pre season under him. When he debuts, his opponent will know he won’t be intimidated Your posting on team selection on a weekly basis is predictable and warranted the response it got- PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Why bring logic into a discussion with this poster- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?

Congratulations Jed, go out and have a ripper, hopefully the first of many- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yes RT suspect he will be gone before our current picks, composed, good user by foot and reads the play well. Has ability to develop into a good midfielder after he IMO spends first few years at AFL level across half back - Steven May's Future
