Countdown to Footy
We're probably getting West Coast as good a time as ajy the heat can be an issue in March, but McGovern and Barrass are behind in their pre season with interuptions and they will look to build as the season progresses. Oscar Allen also has had an interupted start. On the negative most of their mids are up and running as is JK. Anyone have any idea about tickets for Round 1 or receive anything from the club

Seven year deal for Grundy
Capuano, Barnes, Keating, McDonald, Lade, Jolly, Cox(exception) Ottens, Renouf Ottens, Jolly, Ottens Pike, Mcevoy, Roughead J, Nankervis & Lycett over 20year priod pretty much support your argument and most of the Runner ups in those years are in a similar boat

Steven May Injury Update
So the pessimistic sky is falling brigade, will refrain from thinking the worst and jumping to conclusions in the future based on this Yeah good luck with that, where would Demonland be without its veil of negativity

Northey era vs Daniher era
Think both were really good era's, with both having their strengths and weaknesses. Running into 2 of the best teams in history in Hawks 88 and Bombers 00, made things difficult. 87 was our best chance under Swooper and we were on a roll, but had we got through similar to the 2018 prelim we may have run our race, Robbie Flower and Brian Wilson would have both been out, 10 previous weeks ( including H & A + finals) and a warm day with the Blues having the weeks rest may have been a bridge to far 98 IMO was Dannihers best side with the mix of experience and youth, we were flying early in the finals and the old finals system didn't do us any favours, because I reckon going into finals with our form ourselves and North were the 2 best sides going in. I would have fancied us against them week 1 of the finals but Jeff White's injury didn't help for the Prelim. Danners sides from 2000-06 just lacked key defenders and from 02-06 we paid for poor end of season runs costing us double chances

Inside the Draft
Georgiadis is a very strong boy with an interupted year, but a competitor. What I take from Taylor's interest in Robertson, Rivers and Georgiadis along with the two first Rounders in LJ and Kossie is a leaning towards competitors who offer some physicality. Long term and when September is something we hopefully see regularly that's very important I agree with Taylor that Robertson is a born leader and will prove recruiters wrong

How much will Melbourne improve in 2020??
Pity in another thread you told me Viney should be dumped as captain based on 2019. If you're going to maintain a stance stick to it

Harley Won’t Return to WA for the Holidays
That is a good decision considering the issues stem a lot from what occurs around the old stomping ground

Captaincy 2020
This site is full of people looking for someone to blame and possessing short memories. Jack is copping the blame from many who seem to forget his finals performance and the leadership he has shown since Round 1 in 2013
-
Captaincy 2020
you need to learn about leadership and team The entire leadership group takes the blame not just 2 In fact those senior players not part of the leadership group shoulder blame If someone requires a title to lead they are not a leader
-
Captaincy 2020
Reality is you don't know what the inner sanctum or playing group thinks. Why not ditch Gawn, Jetta and Viney along with Jones who has already stood down. Any part of the leadership group of 2019 should go by your logic FFS, it's comical

Rating Our 2019 Draft
Agree Dazzle with the compromised draft next season and those taken last year having a year into them I'm really happy we managed to get 3 players all competitors ready to go. I really rated Sharp and Rivers and to turn pick 8 into the player we were likely to take and Rivers is fantastic and really shrewd work by the list management team. I've no doubt we'll start looking at a late diamond with hardness and the competitive edge to take next year

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
I think it helps a bit, with mates getting drafted to the same City or club

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Sounds familiar was the EFFC futures coach tied to Willetton, used to happen a fair bit with development coaches poaching players back to their clubs to build power sides. New rule was bought in this year limiting the amount of development players allowed to be in a team. Rule doesn't come into effect if the players were already tied to your club. I live Northside and know a Junior club President was eventually removed after years of loading up teams and ignoring warnings

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Not worried about who he's listed with he's a Willeton Junior along with Chad Warner not sure about when that changed You still have to register with a junior club when you're playing colts. Oscar Allen is listed as Whitfords junior, he played maybe 2 games there being registered there in his last junior season but he came through Sorrento Duncraig

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Not quite junior club DD, That's their WAFL Club Rivers is from Willetton Junior Footy Club same as Kane Lucas, Aaron Sandilands, Shaun Mcmanys, Dom Cassisi, Rhys Palmer and Richard Hadley Jackson hails from Bullcreek Leeming who produced a couple of Brownlow Medalists/Premiership guns in Simon Black and Ben Cousins Rival clubs from the South East of Perth right next to each other, so you're correct no go home factor all 3 new interstate boys can bond together Welcome aboard Trent really happy to get him with our 3rd pick

Simon Goodwin on SEN (28/11/19)
We can assume that but you and I are not resident hand ringers
-
Elijah Taylor (Drafted by Sydney)
Could be Jeff Farmer, but could easily be Clem Smith or Ash Sampi
