  1. AFL SITE I'M listening on SEN
  2. Another week (if Casey don't have a bye next week) wont do Watts any harm get some consistency into him and maybe just maybe make him realise after a few weeks out. When I get my chance again I am going to grab it. To early a call on Jurrah
  3. The porn star does what Neeld asks, Ricky needs to do the same
  4. Well seriously I have said nowt for a couple of months but must you fook up every thread!
  5. Not really, Jack if you want to play at this level you have to earn it, whilst I appreciate the conditions last week didn't suit you they were perfect for putting bodies on the line and tackling. Sam Fisher showed you how much you have to work át this level now learn from it go back and make yourself a better competitor and get the hunger to succeed. You have the tools but only you can take yourself to the next level
  6. Sorry Big Jim, I'm not a Watts knocker but can't agree with you here, Davey has improved every week this season and provided some forward pressure. Dunn took over from Watts last week picking up Fisher and done the job. I'm not writing Watts off far to young for that and not enough games in him..He showed glimpses last season especially through the middle of the year. IMO 1 week out is not enough unless he really tears it up, send him back for two reasons build confidence and build hunger, it may spark something inside him
  7. No make him earn it, lets see him do this over 3/4 weeks. We Need to make our team similar to Wes Coast where guys are tearing the WAFL apart to get a chance and once they do are playing to the team structures and hearts out just to stay in
  8. and they say a week is a long time in footy Jackie, didn't you start this thread
  9. From what I seen yesterday and if he continues to play like that, Do it. Break out game? Maybe He will be much sought after if he keeps playing like that
  10. A lack of pace can be compensated by smarts, Treners and Scully complimented each other and were great picks together, Scully had the pace and gut running, Trenners has the smarts and still does IMO he is getting to grips with new gameplan and also suffering from interupted pre season. Pretty confident the captaincy is not a burden on him at all.
  11. Cant agree with you WYL re Treners, he has been very good in his first 2 years, interupted pre season and will improve fitness through the season. Neeld put him head to head with Hayes last night who ran him off his feet. Hayes had little impact till thelast 10 minutes. Trenners has it, trust me and he wants it
  12. Some say he paid his money so he is entitled to express his opinion. I don't agree. I have played sport at a decent enough level for many years to know sometimes things just happen on the field that you cant explain. Sometimes the harder you try the worse it gets. I was never gifted with talent but there was no one fitter or who gave more. This is why I hate hearing people on here slate Barty, Joel Mac and others in the past they give their all for the red and the blue and they have played more AFL games than I and most on Demonland. Armchair sports stars tell you how to do things and what they would do, but it aint easy. Some players make it look easy and have natural talent, desire and the ability to go that extra bit. While others have talent and give what is their best. Players of all different levels and talents are pieces in the team jigsaw and it is so hard to get them all together for the ultimate. Yes I get angry with the boys at times but never would I personally attack any of them, I don't have the right no matter how much money I spend or put into the club. I do not know the mindset or the personal circumstances of the individuals. Im not right or wrong its just my personal opinion
  13. Garland, Frawley, Tom Mac, Grimes,a fit Strauss & Rivers till he is replaced by a younger player Davis/Shehan or someone else will be the backbone of our defence in the future, we do not need to Tinker with it
  14. He may not be in our next Premiership team but can still play a big part in helping develop it, these guys were not part of Collingwoods 2010 Premiership side but played a big role in the side and setting the culture in the lead up Medhurst, Lockyer, Prestigiacomo, Buckley, Scott Burns
  15. Thanks KC for the update much appreciated by the Demon/Scorps fans in the west
  16. We say other teams supporters laugh at/no very little and/or think nothing of us. To many of us worry about other teams, time to forget the rest Neeldy make us a hard tough side that other supporters think "[censored] Dees next week"hope they don't give us a belting to badly on and off the scoreboard
  17. If i see the same intensity, improvement and structure as last night 0-11 whilst not being good will not bother me as much as yo-yo performances. Keep up that intensity and the wins will come, seen some players grow in confidence last night as they realised they weren't as bad as they were in the first 4 rounds. They boys played a lot more one on one, concentrate on beating their opponent, ran and spread better and the game plan was tweeked a little with a few more risks. Maybe just maybe the messages are sinking in and the players are getting used to Neelds game plan
  18. For someone playing only his 6th game, excellant performance. Started okay but grew confidence in the role and actually started to run off Riewoldt and win his own ball. Very much reminded me of a young Ashley Mcintosh last night. From what I've seen this round it will between him and Jeremy Cameron for Rising Star this week
  19. Watch the game again, not having a go but watch Sellar's contests in isolation he is not trying to take grabs tonight he is bring the ball to ground, playing the percentages. Fits into the team ethos
  20. We are no longer the side who played freewheeling footy under Bailey, so those calling for Dunn to be dropped need to understand under Neeld we will be defensive in every part of the ground and he will stay in he fits into Neelds structure as our defensive forward. Sellar did a good job pinchitting in the ruck and probably due to the conditions took the option of bringing the ball to ground rather than trying to take a grab, don't mind this in wet weather footy. Glad to see Morton at the 13 min mark of 3rd quarter bypass the ball and hit Goddard front on. On Effort tonight most stay in but obviously Clarke and Frawley come back
  21. Stuei get over yourself that Ruckman Rhys Stanley has won two GF Sprints and is no slouch
  22. Mids all the way, didn't we draft KPT in Cook, Fitzpatrick & Gawn
  23. No worries agree entirely, I blame Danniher a bit but in his defence and have discussed this with some of the players he had no FD backing, no money and nothing really enticing to recruit proven players. We will turn things around the off field changes will see to this but people need to be patient and I don't want to hear I have been patient waiting for 48 years we have had the new set up only 6 months and at least 2 pre seasons and regular games into these boys before consitent progression is seen
  24. What are you on about, I was annswering "I Want a Flag" post regarding the candidates and followed it up with my opinion that at the time I would have preferred Hardwick and still do, maybe it's just the way I like my footy but I like honesty and hardness and see that in Hardwick
