  1. Are you serious, do you think a supporter would suggest he wouldn't want a player who runs himself into the ground. Let me explain it a bit better for you, Kerr is starting games sore his body is almost shot and it is a struggle for him to get out on the park.
  2. Absolutley with some of the sensationalism on here, some, in fact many have NFI of the legal process and none of us have any idea of the incident, despite chinese rumours
  3. Not oveerly confident but if Sydney want an arm wrestle they play into our hands and the small ground will suit us kicking quick into the forward line
  4. Do not touch him that is my advice, I know we have a choir boy image and people think that is why we stayed away from Darling but that is not the main reason not to. Also body could break at any time the way Kerry plays. He is starting to look sore in the last couple of games and the same happened toward the end of last season. I think he will become sorer sooner into seasons in the next year or two and will struggle to get out on the track and get his best football. Cons outweigh the pros for me
  5. Don't now about NT law, what are the new charges if they are lesser charges (non indictable) may be good behaviour, fine, suspended sentence. I don't know the intracacies of the case so can't speculate, whilst victims need to be taken into account courts need to way up public inerest of giving Jurrah a prison sentence as opposed to the other options. The matter has not been committed to trial yet, so wait and see
  6. Yarran wasn't great in his first year but now he has got 40 games into him and is looking the goods. We will have the run off the back half when Blease gets some more games into him and he will be a lot cheaper
  7. Agree 99% but draw the line at spitting, it aint about being tuff it's a dog act
  8. Sorry Striker I don't care who they are or how big they are spitting to me is the lowest thing anyone can do to another, it warrants a good hiding and IMO the hiding is justified. I hope you acted appropriatley
  9. Pretty much what I and a lot of others have been saying for a while, our senior players have a lot to answer for, put our young guys in any other side in the Top 10 and they would all look much better We are bereft of confidence and are not as bad as we currently look, of course we are not great but much better than we are currently showing
  10. But on the flip side what if we don't take Dangerfield or Boak and the number 3 /4 pick breaks his leg like Blease and never becomes the player he should, not having a go just stating it works both ways
  11. Every team Walls whacked this year has performed really well in their game that week, so hopefully we will do ourselves proud tonight. I must say terrible article se;ective memory as other have said re bruise free footy and using 2010 results againt the Pies to say how well we were doing. IMO what is being done now re playing style and increased fitness levels is needed. We can't see it now but it will benefit us in the long run. I think slowly the players are also starting to realise how far off the mark re accountability and fitness we were and it is even starting to filter out in some media stories recently namely ones from Jones & Morton. This to me is fuel I will use later like any West Aussie based Dee who listened to Timmy Gossage this morning saying we are worse off now than under Bailey and we are that far behind the other 17 Teams. He forgets how bad West Coast were in 2010, when Woosha midway through the season was concentrating on working on the press and getting his players ready for 2011. We are an easy target at the moment but I recall 2010 HARDWICK being 0-9 and the worse than Fitzroy comments. Sometimes those outside the club don't know what is being done looking toward the future. NEELD said on SEN the other day "people talk about the new trends in footy I can tell you right now there will be a club currently working on the next trend in footy that in the future we will be talking about but it's actually being put into practice now on training grounds and developed"
  12. Hodge and Bouman out for Hawks, Gillham and someone else in they are worried about lack of height down back, Gillham will be underdone
  13. If Maloney and Jamar leave we can afford Dangerfield, Caddy & Stanton
  14. Yep Saints bombed it in long and quick last week and Kossie called them all sorts of dramas with no Gibson floating across to spoil, will be interesting to see, but then again need to win our lions share of the clearances for this
  15. Pointless exercise, lets get over 2012, FCS
  16. Keep developing the side and win as many games as possible, the draft is irrelevant we are taking Viney and forget the rest for now
  17. Thanks for the report very much appreciated from us over here in the west. Grimes was in the SEN studios with KB and Cam Mooney this morning as part of the membership drive. Also good to hear Neeld this morning speaking positiveley about Jack Watts & LJ. His comments re Wattsy were interesting, he made a point of saying some boys from day 1 of being drafted have the agression and intensity and others take a couple of seasons to get up to this level. The way he put it across was he believed it would happen.
  18. Great post, he is part of the missing pieces to our jigsaw. And a very big part at that. Take him whatver GWS & GC force us to do
  19. Never worry about who you haven't got WYL worry about who you have got, that is what makes the Cats good they still have the strong core, we'll get there we have the nucleaus of that core just keep the faith, that is why I like Neeldy he is doing things right
  20. Mate I hate them but this was early to mid 2010 before Richmond had won a game around this time they put the cue in the rack and started getting ready for 2011 and changed there prep
  21. It works both ways WYL you yourself have banged on about our lack of leadership from the senior players, Geelong have them so put our 10 most inexperienced players amongst those Cats boys and their would be little difference their kids are no better than ours
  22. Maybe nothing to it but West Coast maintain they were overcooked in season 2010 due to overtraining in that pre season and getting their programme wrong
  23. 1) They are facts watch the game Cats v Dees 05 elimination final, it was reckless by King and an accident, in no way did White do anything brave, he was unlucky 2)Okay I'm just guessing then I didn't see the game your referring to!!!!!!!!!!! off course I saw the game and remember it well but that is one game and he didn't win it alone. From memory we won the last three to make finals that year after once again promising so much only to fall into a whole 3) I never said White wasn't a good player he was but he could have been great
  24. Lets get our facts right the comparison with White & Trapper is two guys with absolute natural talent who never got the best out of themselves and yes White was very good in 04 from memory an AA in that year. Still stand by him never being as good as he could have. Wow he nailed a goal in 2005 and thats steely resolve is it, plenty of players have done that, ask Jordy Mcmahon. Get a tape of the 2005 final against Geelong it was a simple ruck contest from a boundary throw in the ball went loose and KING wildly lashed out in an attempt to kick the ball and took Whites head off. I don't think it was a case of him throwing his head where angels fear to tread but you keep playing with the facts. Check other posts I have made Danners left our list in a terrible state for his refusal to turn the list over, Yze, Trapper White and others all got games when they should have been dropped. In Danners defence the club did not give him much in the way of cash to assist with FD staff but with a few tweaks and accountability to the list at his disposal and we could and should have almost taken a flag between 2000-2006
  25. With you here BB he has undoubted class and uses the ball so well, he is a rolls royce and just needs a bit of nastiness & hunger in him. He looks good in the VFL with his class and in the long term benefits of the club maybe even 4 to 6 weeks playing regular with Casey for 2 reasons To build hunger and make him realise he wants to play at the top level and get him used to playing the way Neeld wants so when he steps back in its second nature to him.
