  1. Not after his role in the tanking investigation, what is Eugene AROCA doing now
  2. Agree with a lot of what you say Bush, if things get worse the will step in as one sided matches ruins their brand and has dollar affects in TV rights etc. If they step in the next coach will either be Sheedy who is a great marketing man and whilst not bringing us to a Premiership he will get us competative. On the other hand Roos is well liked in AFL circles and this is also a road they could go down. Whatever the outcome the AFL involvement will mean Schwab moves on as there is no way Sheedy or Roos would work with him. In regard to the MCG no way I will take games at boutique stadiums against Meth Coast, Port, Brisbane etc but only 2 a year, 2 in Darwin and all other home games must be played at our home. Hopefully we will turn it around and sort ourselves out
  3. I understand I was more inferring to it not being as easy as just being fit enough to run with them and stay close. Great players need very little time it's what makes them great
  4. Its not that easy Stuie, players like Judd, Watson, Ablett, Swan, Cousins, Harvey, Cotchin, Pendlebury and others of that ilk just run all day and work that hard they break their Tag. That is what makes them great players. Having said that still no excuses for the amount of room their players were given
  5. The uninterrupted pre-season is the only reason I have him in ahead of Max who IMO would be better off playing at least 1 more full week in the VFL
  6. He is not a supporter he is a troll it's been fairly obvious for a few years, while most of us have other lives poor RR has d'land and other fan sites as his/her forms of attention.
  7. Is the 1 million the amount it would cost to pay out Neeld & Schwab?
  8. Just reread this whilst responding to Jumbo's reply and realised I left Blease out FMD when I am talking about run he has to be in, you could take a gamble and forget Sellar as back up or unfortunatley for Terlich who was okay he may have to miss out for match ups
  9. Watts when moved forward made a lead which looked natural and left Fletcher for dead, he dropped the mark but would put that down to confidence, once Dawes comes in Watts can play off a flank ideally but for know say Jack you've got two weeks see how it goes Who knows Run, Run, Run may not work but it's something different
  10. Confidence is currently at a very low ebb and the game plan isn't working becuase we can't get our hands on the ball or at least with low confidence the players really don't want the ball. IMO maybe be best to revert with a run and carry style whilst our back are against the wall. Play as many running players as we can and allow for Meth Coasts big forward line by playing Chippy, Garland & Pedersen as back up ruck/defence. IMO Neeld needs to bring in runners and rotate them through the middle and get the interchange rotations up to a record amount, Bail, Viney, Trenners, Sylvia, Jones x 2, Howe, Tapscott, Kent, Evans & Jetta as many as we can fit in and rotate through the middle constantly. Mckenzie if fit goes to shut down Scott Selwood, Bail can run with Shuey. A rabbit out the hat against Meth Coast to spring surprise play on as often as we can. With Nic Nat out Cox is unable to spend as much time up forward and has been outdone in the last two outings by guys at centre bounces who have been to mobile for him. Also need to play hard guys who will give their all and attack the contest and some ball users, going to be hard to fit all the above in but desperate times boys Jetta, Frawley, Garland Pedersen, Tmac, Grimes Bail, Viney, M Jones Sylvia, Watts, Howe Tapscott, Clark, Davey Spencer, N.Jones, Mckenzie Int: from Terlich, Trengove, Kent, Evans, Joel Mac & Sellar to be considered as cover in case one of our talls goes down Toumpas maybe needs a rest
  11. I do not want to get rid of Neeld at this stage, we are into a rebuild and have been for 12 months, changing the coach will do nothing between now and the end of the season. I say he has till round 6. His game plan - well what is it how would we know we are getting killed at the clearances and can't get our hands on the ball so it's hard to see what the game plan is when you have so little of the ball. The team is absolutley devoid of all confidence and don't want the ball, they are absolutley terrified of truning it over. Whatever way he does it this week Neeld needs to bring in runners and rotate them through the middle and get the interchange rotations up to a record amount, Bail, Viney, Trenners, Sylvia, Jones x 2, Howe, Tapscott & Jetta all need to play and rotate through the middle constantly and Mckenzie if fit goes to shut down Scott Selwood, Bail can run with Shuey. I would like to see the side taking the game on a fair bit and create some run, it may catch the Eagles off guard during the first quarter and just do enough to get the boys confidence up early. But for now we need to stick fat. If anyone needs to go it is in admin not with the footy department at this stage
  12. I'm not a Schwab fan but please do some homework before posting such rubbish, Freo have never in their history made successive finals series 2003, 2006, 2010 & 2012 and Schwab was there for the first 2
  13. Natanui will not play for at least another 6 weeks, Cox has been beaten by younger more agile ruckman in the first two games this year. Seems to have lost a bit of his leap and is relying on big body and muscle, where he is dangerous is up forward, another reason Gillies has to be dropped because Cox would do exactly what Bellchambers did last night. I would bring Spencer in for Jamar & Pedersen in for Gillies Just MO
  14. When we are shite it makes me realise how much I love the club, I can't walk away if we didn't care it wouldn't hurt and the slagging we cop from other supporters would have no affect.
  15. Listened to SEN Auskick show this morning and two kids Jacob & Connor two young Dees discussing last nights game. They were disappointed and asked if they would continue to follow the Dees, they both shot back with of course we will be there next week because you never change teams. Not sure how old they both were but from memory one was around 9 or 10. They reminded me of myself as a kid innocent and unhappy with a loss but looking forward to next week. Actually made me smile again this morning, just hope we turn around for these kids and others who may have only started following us in the last 6/7 years They were both asked if they
  16. I hope your right Bobby with the 2000 quote, also heard somewhere tonight Essendons record defeat tonight surpassed their 1964 winning margin. We all know what happened at the end of that year. My hope is fading but it will never die
  17. Agree there have been plenty of premiership sides & contenders with mediocre forwards but gun midfields.
  18. Schwab has to go, he may have survived 186 but for the good of the club he has to go ASAP
  19. 6. Nate JONES 5. HOWE 4. FRAWLEY 3. DAVEY 2. TERLICH 1. GARLAND
  20. Olisik you just don't get it, he is a kid. Grow up
  21. Cant sack a coach at Round 2 it wont and shouldn't happen. Could see how he was hurting tonight, he made plenty of moves but nothing worked. Lots of soul searching this week, his crack at the big gig is falling apart so he and the player group need to work it out. Not saying he will see out the season but just can't sack him after Round 2. Others in the club need to go first
  22. Was there a lot of kids crying, if not why can't you just refer to him as the kid in the MFC polo FFS. He or another family member may read demonland. Think before you post
  23. Red & Blue till I die
  24. He will not come nor will Choco or Rocket until Schwab is gone
  25. I hope the players watched that and see how he is hurting. As others said he made plenty of moves but a lot of the players were just shell shocked. This will take a lot to turnaround. No quick fix with this, it goes deeper than the coach and talking about experienced AFL coaches, Neil Craig needs to get greater involvement if he hasn't already
