  1. ABC broadcast WAFL so pretty sure if your surf the net or go online you will find some Swan Districts games, please do yourselves a favour and whilst seeing some highlights of Garlett you will see no application or hard work.
  2. I would implore all those discussing Spencers lack of technique in regard to his kicking to review some ealry footage of Dean Cox, absolutley terrible and couldn't get a kick in a street fight. Cox had great heart and work ethic which is the main reason he got himself to where he is So whilst I'm not saying Spencer will end up being a 4 time All Australian Ruckman, very early to call on where he will end up but he obviously has the work ethic given the size he is putting on
  3. Cheers for all the reports everyone very much appreciated. Really pleased to hear how Jetta is progressing always liked this kid, tackles and runs hard and is a player who goes unnoticed because he is not flash but does the team thing. Always felt he just needed an injury free run, he will never be a star but every good side has a couple of Nev Jetta's in it. IMO only and would like feedback from others but a lot of talk about improved skills, I said on some posts last season once fitness improved and players were able to run games out better and deal with fatigue their skills would improve or seem to be improved. It appears on face value the players have come back fitter and just wondering is it a coincidence, with better conditioning resulting in less fatigue and better skills for longer periods, which hopefully will result in less turnovers
  4. Will agree to disagree WYL I think the baove scenario would have us happy if our big names went down and the youngers boys stepped up. Having said all this I really expect improvement and want 10 wins minimum but wanting and getting are two different things
  5. Can someone confirm if NMMNG is Range Rover the former King of starting threads. FFS while we are at it how about we start a thread on the 2016 draft period. 4 months to go before First Bounce
  6. Played a defensive role all year and never got towelled up, was shown a new side to his game by Neeld. This kid will be a very very good player
  7. I wont put a figure on what I would call a fail, (well within reason), other things need to be considered such as who steps up, injuries and can you see sustained improvement and the boys in games for greater length of time as well as an ability to run out games. Lets say if we were to win 8 games, be in another 10 to 12 games for the majority of the game, were within 3 goals for all our losses and clear improvement and right direction obvious to all I think I would be ruing chances missed and calling it a Pass.
  8. Sorry Tonatopia but they do not compare, Darling got a wristy (so to speak) in a tent at school camp and was suspended. Second high profile event was getting king hit in the back of the head. In regards to his footy he was always a big unit as a kid and stood out. When he went to WAFL he struggled against men, hence why he dropped down the draft order as there was concern he could transform schoolboy promise to the next level. Comparing Garlett to Darling is like comparing apples & oranges
  9. Cheers for the update FNQ Demon and hats off to your determination to see the boys train.
  10. Good to see none of these boys are rake thin and looking a few years away from matching it with the the big boys
  11. I know Old Dee will be happy, can't say JB was one of his favourites
  12. + 1, He is strong in the core BH and why I think he has that bit of accelaration and some good power through the thighs. Was a big fish in a small pond of Northam but now is just another number. I think this kid has some upside and contrary to others don't think it means our list is struggling if he is right up there for best first year player.
  13. Think Kent will be heading over next week and from what I have been told he was struggling at his first session back with Perth, so he may struggle for a while. Having said that I have also been told he has never been trained properly (comes from Northan hometown for Leon Davis and Darren Glass) but is the type of kid with a build which will flourish under a professional regime and should get fit pretty quickly. On what I seen at colts level he is a decent size for a kid and a nice bit of acceleration. Let's hope Misson gets him up and going this kid could be another Woey with the left foot he has, but a lot of work to be done in the meantime.
  14. Cheers to all for the reports really appreciated here in the West
  15. Mate I'm devastated with Hutchings getting picked up by the Druggies he will now be playing for the Royals next year
  16. I know nothing about Matt but as a Dees lover welcome aboard Matt and best of luck to you
  17. Big no doesn't want it enough have seen him many times and don't believe he has the hunger to play AFL! Wants everything on his own terms
  18. Welcome aboard Dean grab your seond chance buddy and enjoy your time as a Dee!
  19. All those calling for Dayle Garlett thank god we didn't, the kid does not want it enough. I have watched him many times, shows flashes of brilliance when delivered in his area, but he aint going to go and hunt his ball. Struggled big time with finals intensity and didn't like the rough stuff This may be what he needs to give him the kick in the arse to let him know talent only gets you so far and now its up to you Dayle. Rookie at best and ask him to earn it ALA Michael Walters at Freo
  20. Another surprise for the Dees, thought the WA sides would take him, not a stand out but you see him around it a bit and at end of the game how often he has had it. From an inside source at the Dees (Perth) "lacks discipline, but knows how to play and is a accumulator." I think Neeld & Misson will sort out any discipline problems, Welcome aboard Dean I remember your grandmother ringing up 6PR singing your praises. Once a demon always a demon
  21. Can't believe we got him, had my hopes for him earlier in the year but had settled on Wines when we traded Pick 3 for Hoges. Can't recall which Demonlander it was but pretty much thinking right place right time. Welcome aboard Jimmy T looking forward to seeing you light up the G
  22. May not take kindly to being overlooked. I know when Juddy was returning to Victoria he said he would not go to Hawks or Saints as they had there chanes to take him
  23. My dream WYL is for my boy to grow up get drafted by the Dees and wear it, heres hoping!
