  1. All sounds too good to be true but will wait and see, just can't see why GWS would not take him. Not wearing the O'Rourke playing a particular role which means he will get the nod. I understand Plowman as a backman and Whitfield has been touted as Number 1 since March/pril, but IMO if Toumpas was to fall out of Top 3 it would be for a KPP in Grundy or a hope that Menzel's knee will stand up. Under no circumstances to I trust anything to do with GWS & Grubby Allen, only possibility for me as mooted before is something to do with JV, Pick 3 and agreeance Toumpas falls to 4
  2. No chance, he was struggling at WAFL level with Subiaco and is definatley finished as an AFL player
  3. 1 Whitfield 2 Toumpas 3 Plowman 4 Wines 5 O'Rourke 6 Stringer 7 Grundy 8 Mayes 9 Mcrae 10 Daniher
  4. Just so you all know in English it would be pronounced "Chucky Ar LAW"
  5. I think if you check through his articles Haggers chopped and changed on that subject and had no idea. I have very little faith in Hagdorn's journalistic ability and his knowledge of AFL. I dare say like many of our recruiting genius's on Demonland all of Haggers info comes from trawling through the internet. I hear him talk a lot about up and coming players at WAFL level and can honestly say I have seen him at very few WAFL or PSA games
  6. In all honesty we can't lose Toumpas, Wines or O'Rourke all look pretty good. But as we all know transforming from U/18 to AFL can prove difficult for some
  7. Biaised as a Cardies (Falcons) fan in WA but would like to get Shane NELSON , good runner who uses the ball well. It's only illness which prevented him getting picked up last season and the reason for his slow start to 2012 but finished strong and will be a good pick up for someone
  8. Sad time player who got the absolute best out of himself and gave everything for this club that he had. Hope he is not lost to the AFL or the club! Best of luck Barty in your life after being an AFL player and thank you very much for your efforts whilst a Demon!
  9. Been meaning to ask you for a while WYL what Circa is RDB'S photo on your avatar?
  10. It's nothing to do with the number WYL, you have to want it and Dawes is the polar opposite to Scully I say if he wants it give it to him and if not him JV.
  11. + 1 Always thought he was better than some of those who were picked ahead of him for the Bombers
  12. I think the consensus is Wines and there is always a surprise at draft time, the cat amongst the Pigeons would be if Toumpas was left at Pick 4 IMO
  13. Give him 31, curse my arse, get over it he wants to play for us and will honour the jumper.
  14. What annoys me about KB is he keeps bringing up when DB had his press conference and said I delivered the draft picks Melbourne wanted, that was an addmission of tanking. I see no difference in this and Wallaces comments regarding the game he didn't try to win which delivered Cotchin. Bailey may also have been saying I could have played injured players and won some more games but I chose to go for youth, manage the list and experiment a bit
  15. Yes I agree and if it's a stand alone team dont see it being an issue Edit: and Yes to Rogue
  16. Noww your talking WYL, future with Hope, it's there for the taking. Our future is at Casey or our future group of hardcore supporters, time to get on the front foot Dees, we've laid the foundations out there time to cement ourselves there. All Home games at the G, NAB games at Casey, family days and school clinics.
  17. Like everyone I would love to see it and for my kids to see it for the first time in their lives, but realistically I would be happy with 8 to 10 wins and to be competative in another 8 to 10 where we only where to get done by 3 to 4 goals. That to me with signs of further improvement in 2014 would be a pass. Long way to go yet and we are due a decent run with injuries at some stage
  18. Don't hold your breath WYL, we both know there is more hope or her writing a piece on the Dees 2013 Premiership win against all odds!
  19. It wont break us (as others said don't see it happening) if it's only for one draft that being 2013. Despite what the hand ringers say in Hogan we already have a first round pick so if they take our first two picks in next years draft we wont be as bad off as we would had we not taken Hogan. Carlton were crippled for a few years because they were banned from two drafts but also had a very aging list while we are in the opposite position. So IMO if we lose our first two picks in next years draft not by being scapegoated but with a smoking gun appearing, we just take our whack and move on. We are just starting to build our new culture and will be stronger in another twelve months. We must however maintain pick 4 this year to assist us should we lose picks next year
  20. Bails is an honourable man, probably half his problem as a senior coach always trying to please everyone. Not surprised at all by his stance of stating he never told players or directed anyone to lose, Cup day tomorrow so would not expect an anti- Dees piece to be written as it could be lost in other media stories. But look forward to WILSON'S next article, she has gone in to deep to back down now.
  21. People ask where will the improvement come from, if this is anything to gage for the rest of the pre-season campaign then it is small matters like this which will see us improve. Good to hear Sammy already ahead of where he was this time last year. Big thanks to everyone for keeping us outside of Victoria up to date!
