Farewell Dom Tyson
Best of luck Dom, very important player to us when he first came on board. Hope it works out for him at North

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Beams contract was very much front ended, which is another reason why I think he should stay in Brissy. With regard to Hogan and May if we get May and give up pick 5 but keep pick 11 I'm happy. May will instantly improve our defence and yes Jesse will be missed but whilst it's a year early it is best to cash in now. For those expecting Freo to finish in the bottom 4 next season you just never know. Don't underestimate the massive home ground advantage and if they get a good run with injury they can easily win 10 to 12 games with Hogan B. Grey Hamling Wilson HB. Cerra Pearce S.Hill C. Banfield Fyfe B.Hill HF. Walters Hogan Mundy F. Grey Taberner Lobb R. Darcy, Blackeny, Brayshaw I/C Conca, Langdon, Hughes, Ryan, Ballantine, Sheridan, Cox Etc. Worst case scenario Jesse stays for another year when a lot can change

Farewell Jesse Hogan
No pick 5 pick 32, Langdon and next years second rounder. Port and Adelaide are desperate to move up the draft for the SA boys Pick 5 goes to Port for 11 & 12 11 & the second Rounder goes to the Suns for May

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Mundy was voted in when Pav moved on and my mail was the older players got that vote over the line. One year later as the list profile changed Fyfe was voted in and the players voted him in this year for a second time so he's doing something right. We shall see what happens next year

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Nothing new just Bell changing the culture Bennell is an exceptional talent and that is why they kept him so long even his WAFL glimpses show how much class he oozes. On talent he is an absolute game breaker think Dangerfield bursting out of congestion with elite disposal (unlike Danger) Bell knows like many others that the kid won't change he is like Ben Cousins in terms of wanting to have a decent social life whilst actually training really hard. 30 years ago he'd have gotten away with it. I actually think it is this trait which has caused the recurrence of his soft tissue injuries. Cousins was a freak but Bennell just isn't the same An absolute no from me

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Just to clarify re Fyfe he was voted in as captain by the playing group, like every club what supporters think of their captain has little relevance to the players

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What I know from some what I consider good reliable sources Meth Coast have always had an eye on Hogan but this current move may have forced their hand a year early Fremantle as is well known have constantly been monitoring Hogan Dees have planned well as I said earlier in the thread the club has been in constant dialogue with Jesse over the season assessing his plans post 2019 as list managers prepare moving forward Tom Lynch was considered as part of a plan but we were ruled out early as the Hogan talks continued We were Gaffs club of choice but not prepared to pay what he (his manager)was asking. Has that changed after he saw how close he was last week and realised what it actually means to win one, I have no idea Hogans trip to Perth this week is nothing suspicious it was long planned he and mates are heading to Europe and may include Oktoberfest Suns want May out if he is not prepared to commit beyond next season. As they move to restart their culture and despite the bravado will take the best offer available (within reason)

There is Meth Coasts B&F is this weekend

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
He's had a good season Rusty absolutely, plenty want to throw enough darts and occasionally hit the board with one and didn't they come out to gloat after the Prelim. His experience was so important in big games and assissted the development of our group. Having said that I expect him to be part of the list next season just like Lockyer, O'Bree and other elder statesmen were as the Pies started season 2010. If the list develops and evolves as it should I would expect by late in the season Jordy and the FD will not need to make the call as the form and maturity of the playing group will dictate the outcome

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Don't take to much out of our cap space being tight based on Mahoney saying we can't afford to get May without the Hogan deal. He is a smart man he never mentioned money in his discussion it was assumed as a given but, without Hogan going to Freo we don't have the picks to get May to our club
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
It was a constant in WA with Pavlich returning to South Australia pretty much every year for his first 10 years at Freo

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Stop biting and posting junk he will not be heading to the Suns, think it's this week he flies to Europe and everything is now between the clubs. Don't expect it to be done quickly either with many clubs going to be involved in the interchange of picks where Freo end up with two first rounders and Hogan not being their only target this season but he is the priority.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
No to Brad Hill Damaged goods

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
I also see a bit of Isaac Smith in him uf used on a wing

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I love your optimism Jnr Mac take it from me he's gone. Just about the club sorting out the best deal now.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
just out of curiosity if the Suns tear up Mays contract does he become a free agent? I may be wrong but possibly a legal loophole where both sides win
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
It seems overnight Pruess has become Shane Mumford the way people are talking about him. For those saying May isn't big enough to deal with big forwards, he's the same size as Frawley and Rance.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Pearce is better than Omac going to be a good defender. Contrary to others I believe this story has some legs well at least the club is asking questions. The club has been in dialogue with Jesse's management for quite some time planning for beyond 2019. That I know but I have no information on any outcomes or any idea what Jesse's plans are
-
Andrew Gaff
He may not be, which I agree with you on, but I'm hearing Crows are showing some interest in Dunstan so maybe they are looking at Tyson as another insider
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I have said previously the threat isn't Freo it's Meth Coast. Jesse's contract ends at a time which is perfect for them Kennedy will be done Le cras will be done and Natanui's wage will be significantly lower. I hate them but they are well run and any leaks from them are deliberate
-
Andrew Gaff
and I hope he was open enough to tell you we weren't prepared to pay what Gaff was asking for.

Post Match Discussion - Elimination Final
We are a team could have absolutely smashed them, we did physically but the scoreboard flattered them. Watched it with my 11 year old who jumped off in the dark years when he was 5, but he cheered as hard as I did tonight. Cmon boys don't be content with one win enjoy the moment and move on you are seriously becoming good and as the Reverand said in his lead up speech to QB, why not us
