  1. Cats 08 and Pies 11 repeat is on the cards
  2. You get Ollie Wines and you don't get Clarrie simple. It's like the Hawks take Judd over Hodge they don't bottom out and only get one of Roughie Franklin and Lewis. It's time to forget the past
  3. Seriously are you that naive. It has nothing to do with the past. Ffs they are creating a new culture and for the 100th time like happened with Brisbane, Geelong and the great Hawks sides of this century you will not see genuine consistency in this group until the large bulk of the playing group 15 to 20 players average around the 100+game mark. As pro dee has tried to tell you the current culture was started by Roos and Jackson. Vince, Cross and Lewis brought the good habits and the professional approach to get the best out of yourself and Viney, Lever Brayshaw and Oliver will pass that on.
  4. 6. Jetta 5. Viney 4. Clarrie 3. Gawn 2. Brayshaw 1.Lewis

Yes from me at the right price. Class and polish we need and wint have to do much grunt work with our list

Mate I live in WA and that is nonsense. There was a period around 14 & 15 when teams stopped runningwith Priddis and started putting work into the outsiders in Shuey and Gaff. So not any Meth Coast fan wantedchim dropped last season. Many complained about him being to outside but he is hardly a one season wonder

    Good appointment IMO.

Jetta was never a dud or they wouldn't have re listed him as a rookie. Always played with hardness and discipline

Give Trac a couple of 5/10 min bursts in the middle like De Goey in the first quarter. Show him the tape of De Goey and start him there put the challenge to him, time to make a statement kid

Ebert is a running machine not pacey but runs hard to spread. Thats what can hurt us

I think if Wines, Rockliff, Boak and SPP get hold of us around the clearances Polac and Wingard will cause us all sorts of problems. Get beaten on the inside and they have the run and good quick ball users on the outside to make us look very slow

Forget this common sense and logic, Deelanders demand success now the fact the current build started in 2013 is irrelevant to them Haven't you heard 54 years of mediocrity 186 loss to the Cats Jones isn't a leader Toumpas over Wines Clarrie over Parish (after the Round 2, 2016 loss) Jetta was a dud and should have been delisted Omac. see above I could go on but those with some forsight can see the pieces coming together. No quick fix, still some bumps to come

And one of the most vocal on the Collingwood post match discussion and Changes vs Port threads. FFS give me a spell. Top 8 is the aim and finals experience. Jigsaw pieces and about 20 games experience still to be covered

Disagree AF, our bottom 6 are no worse than anybody elses. We lack outside polish and experience on the outside, we're not far away as those can be fixed with recruitment and gametime
  15. Good summation re the game and balanced. The last point, nail on the head. The guy/girl whatever is an absolute troll or was dropped on his/her head at birth

  17. I'm sure AF despite what those on here think the FD would have also been aware of the Pies strength and backed our boys to win the contest or break even at worst around the clearances. Some big lessons today like the Tigers game, you adjust and improve and teams put more work into you and you need to adjust again. By the time you are a settled experienced side like the 2011-16 Hawks you have the ability to make those adjustmants during a game and trust your structure
  18. A few things from today I said in the lead up our strength at the contest was a strength of theirs and their run and spread worried me. My fears were proven right. The defence battled hard but their delivery inside 50 due to their outside run killed us We have 10 to go and need to learn from it. Hoges had a dirty day and wasn't Robinson Crusoe Pedersen vs Weideman argument put to bed Brayshaw doesn't go to Phillips next time. Viney, Harmes or Jones get that job A bit more composure required under hot pressure and less handball in close Clearances to be addressed over the break with Wines, SPP, Boak and Rockliffe coming up And for the love of god how many of you can not figure out Olisik is a troll, keeps throwing bait out and gullible Deelanders keep hooking on
  19. 6. Tmac 5. Clarrie 4. Lewis 3. Smith 2. Nibbler 1. Spargo Reality check for a lot of our ypunger boys, but won't do them any harm
  20. Well happy birthday Swyl, hope you have a good one

I like it, the kid can play, confidence is shot and change of scenery could be good for him
  22. Good luck kid seize the moment
  23. Get that locked in annually and 2 things happen 1. Corporates get on board long term 2. Destination club
  24. He's a good player Chaser J and developing very nicely at Peel during 2015-16 and shows very promising signs at AFL level over last 2 years plus last season's WAFL finals
