Greatest / most memorable MFC goals ever

Neiter was injured and missed that game. Nick Smith played that night -
Im not keen but never say never if Sydney are desperate to off load him to free up some cap space and for the right price for a year or two If A. Costs little in terms of trade B. Sydney pay a good chink of his salary C. I see him as a ruck who can play forward more so than the other way around so god forbid the same scenario with our stocks this season occured than he's good for that as well as taking a tall second up defender away from Jesse while Weids develops
-
IMO it isn't even an argument we have improved greatly. The gap between our best and worst is significantly less. Our kids are standing up as leaders. We have been in every game and whilst lapses in those losses have cost us dearly we have continued to fight which in past years we hadn't. Contested possession has improved Ball movement has improved but still needs work Forward pressure greatly improved Our clearance work has improved even without Max for most of the season I think the lessons learned and development in the first half of this year will be seen in 2018 and beyond

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

Do not underestimate another 20 games under hisand Frost's belt and what a fit Gawn will do for us relieving the pressure on our defence. I think we need to be careful not to sell the farm on a kpd. A quality forward, some outside run and anotner back up ruckman (not a gun either) are what we need in the jigsaw more than anything else -

Watch footage of a young Rance very poor. Darren Glass at a young age schizen. Cale Hooker again nothing to see here. Robbie Tarrant 2009 to 2014 = delist material.Ted Richards ???? Unlike others I don't,mind what glimpses I've seen in Oscar. I don't think he'sever going to be a star but I think he will develop into a very strong one on one backman -

Well done on starting this thread. When will we ever learn
-
Except for last week against the Swans and the first quarter against Meth Coast. North have been fairly consistent for the season to date. Big test Sunday
-
For the love of god, when will we learn. Lets worry about getting over North first. Week to week prospect and if we make the 8. Then we can see where we are at
-
It's a cliche but I'm very much over focussing on anything other than the game against North this week. It's difficult enough predicting next week let alone weeks ahead Yes we've had some really poor sides over the last decade but the dimple fact weve not beaten them in so long is my first concern. Our inconsistent form is also a concern. I'm also aware of the emotional effort the boys put in last week for a teammate and whilst they rose above expectation against the Crows it can be mentally draining and can effect performance the following week. So I'll worry about North, hope we win and then turn my attention to the Suns

Possibly ANB or Harmes coming in if Hunt doesn't come up. As cards has already stated Hoges wont be coming back in

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 8
Pennant St Dee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Apologies to Jetta Frost & Petracca who all played their part. 6. Viney set the tone from the middle along with 5. Oliver was just fantastic around the clearances and his workrate was exceptional 4. Hibberd just great whether reading the play or with his composed use from defence which set us up moving foward and opening up Adelaide 3. Salem as above 2. Vince won the vital battle against Sloane 1. Tmac turned the game when he went forward work rate and second efforts really worried the Crows defenders -
Im so proud of all 22 players. Absolute fantastic effort hunted and eorked hard all over the ground. Salem and Hibberds ball use from the backline was fantastic. Tmac going forward and Tracs strength through the middle was immense. We didn't just beat them we pulverized them. They were hesitant and panicking right through the second half. Great win boys and kudos to Gooduy and the coaches

You're underestimating his running patterns and work rate to find space and get separation from his opponent

It's going to get worse I'm afraid. Injuries and other factors are going to test the sides resilience between now and seasons end -

Hoges as a possible out -
What an icon to the game. Was the voice of football when I first started following as a kid. Great memories and his quick one liners still make me laugh today. RIP Lou the Lip
