Changes v Fremantle
Viney said it, get back to basics and we certainly need to this week. We can't afford to press to high or have a lack of two way runners and need to go in with a genuine tagger. Not sure on the dimensions of the Darwin ground but if its wide, Ross Lyon as will the Dogs at the G next week, will try and expose us with runners and quick ball use on transition and running forward with numbers. Freo will use Langdon, Neale, Wilson, Hill, Walters and Brad Hill could also be back in and Bennell got a fair amount of it on the weekend but note sure he will come in this week. Night footy with dewy conditions so at least one or two crumbers must come in. A run with player either Vince or Bugg comes in don't care about anything other than curbing Neale and freeing Viney up from the start. Bugg could also be considered to come in as a defensive forward to play on Hill. And obviously we need some run and spread Unfortunately Petty wasn't helped with the lack of defensive pressure from the midfield and I suspect his confidence will be shot also with injuries and form I don't see Freo changing much up forward so Kersten, Apeness and Cox will be the 3 talls with Apeness giving Darcy or Jones a chop out. Either Frost or Tmac goes in when Apeness is in. Hoges or Tmac must play deep and keep contest. Don't mind them when needed through the middle/higher up the ground. When one of these goes up the ground Trac must be in the forward 50 around CHF. Jetta Omac Frost/Keilty Hibberd Smith Salem Stretch Oliver Fritsch Melk Tmac Harmes Spargo Hoges Trac Gawn Viney Brayshaw I/C. ANB, Vince, Jones, Bugg/Garlett In. Frost/Keilty, Vince, Stretch, Spargo & Bugg/Garlett (decision time on these boys and if they decide to drop Hannan one of these comes in) Out. Weid, Tyson, Hannan, Petty, Lewis (Vince is coming in to do a job and dewy conditions wont help Lewis)

Ladder predictor
And one of the most vocal on the Collingwood post match discussion and Changes vs Port threads. FFS give me a spell. Top 8 is the aim and finals experience. Jigsaw pieces and about 20 games experience still to be covered

Disagree AF, our bottom 6 are no worse than anybody elses. We lack outside polish and experience on the outside, we're not far away as those can be fixed with recruitment and gametime

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
He's a good player Chaser J and developing very nicely at Peel during 2015-16 and shows very promising signs at AFL level over last 2 years plus last season's WAFL finals

Thanks for the confidence vote but I know nothing asked someone who would usually know, but still nothing,

ANZAC Eve and QB are massive for us for sponsorship and as a destination club moving forward. Any player considering returning to Victoria or moving clubs would seriously give consideration to the opportunity to play regularly at the G and in 2 blockbusters a season playing in front of 85-90+k on ANZAC Eve and 65-75k on QB. Make finals and put together a couple of good finals campaigns and we set ourselves right up

2018 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tom Medhat from West Perth is one who's going to move up the draft boards. Played most of his juniors as key position with stints on the ball. Now in his draft year being used on the ball really good kid who at 191cm showing endurance and ability to find and use the ball well is going to start attracting attention. Adrian Hickmotts boys (Liam & Will) and Michael Priors boy (Jaxon) also showing plenty from Perths northern suburbs.

As a Toffee I despise the one on the left. Don't mind Schwabbys logo. Although I actually just like the MFC monogram

Yes I know of several people who became members in the second half of the season as low membership guaranteed you a GF ticket

I agree old dee we are heading down the US track very quickly. Grand Finals will soon be for the rich and a select few. As an interstate member I make 2 to 3 games a year at the G and the Subi games. I go and watch junior footy/wafl colts every weekend and local footy on Saturday. Love my Amateur footy in a Saturday arvo with a group of mates and our kids can't beat $4 beers. The AFL needs to be careful pricing out the regular punter and killing the goose who laid the golden egg

I'm in the same boat as you old dee. Oldest born in 2006 and the youngest the year after. Talk about bad timing lost both to Pies and Hawks. As you say life goes on I'm just happy they have an interest in the sport and they share in my hatred for Meth Coast. They like their mother (Blues) all paid up Dees members

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
If we take Parish over Oliver we don't get near finals If Smith and Spencer don't get injured against Richmond we probably win and play finals If St Kilda took Trac instead of Mccartin we struggle to win QB It's full of what ifs Thank god the FD looks forward not back

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARRISON PETTY
^^^ This the so called superdraft next year is based on having plenty of depth in terms of going very deep in quality players A high number of quality talls On another point our FD was one who got their heads around the Academy points system quicker than others. Don't be surprised if they have also prepared for live trading coming in fairly soon

Jack Trengove signed by Port Adelaide as a Delisted Free Agent
Really happy Trenners got another chance, if any footy story deserves a happy ending than this is it. Best of luck Jack

Liam Ryan
Are you a black duck supporter? Saw Tallan Ames outsmart Liam Ryan with good body use very good WAFL defender. I think of Ryan as another Shane Yarran in terms of ability, Subi had to go down and collect Ryan from Armadale for every training session otherwise he nore than likely wouldn't have turned up. They looked after him really well so puts anotger mark against him in terms of on going motivation Ans as for Basil Syphilis can't stand that man. Played Colts against him many moons ago arrogant Wan#@r but could play
