Free agency has compensation for the club that loses a player. I'm doubting he would reach the bench mark for the third round compensation mark.

I thought it was pretty much spot on. Windsor with only one vote was disappointing but fair with the other players in front of him. Lawson Humphries was fantastic in nearly every single game he played. The Cats recruitment team have done it again. My envy is overloading.

I wouldn't. There is a reason he isn't getting a regular game. His best years were really good, but he is one of the first the fans turn on when things aren't going great and for good reason. He doesn't have the ability to turn a losing game around. Think about how angry are getting on here with Fritsch defensive efforts in the forward line. Now imagine that in the backline. I would much rather have Bowey over Daniel long term. Definitely not both of them.

If he wants to go then let him leave. It will hurt seeing him play elsewhere, but he will always be a premiership hero to me. Interesting that he mentioned Casey as a side problem to the bigger issues going on. Once again we pay for being a smaller club.

He's on a very good money. He can just buy another home or rent near Carlton and move back at the end of his career. Money can't buy happiness but problems like that disappear when you have money.

I think most of us thought that McAdams and Fullarton would at the least be decent depth at the start of the year. Two decent players would make a big difference.

I just don't think we are in a position with the list to lose both Tomlinson and TMac. Even if TMac is only depth next year. We need quality tall position players. There is plenty of other players in front of the exit queue. Plus he's been excellent tonight in a depleted backline

Definitely after the Brownlow. I'm just hoping that Woey can develop into a player that can reliably play a role. He is a liability at the moment and I cringe when I see him named in the team.

You can have a favourite player and also think long term for the club. I don't know the details of payments. But I don't think Jack will be in the seniors in his final years of the contract and think it's a mistake giving them to him this far out. He plays his best as an inside midfielder and he isn't able to play another position. I didn't think Buddy would play out his 9 year contract at the Swans and was wrong about that and hope I'm not correct here.

Exactly. We needed to offer Brown the big contract to get him across and that paid off. Most of us knew the last year would be a VFL year or injury list for Brown when we signed the contract. I would have preferred we had another youngster in the list instead of extending Schache. He would be on stuff all player payment though.
