Free agency changes things as you no longer need to trade for the player. I got to see the great passage of play to get the ball up from one end to the other. I saw Salem take the mark and Crossy waving his arms to tell him to take the shot before it cut out. We were celebrating when it came back and I went nuts! I don't think I will ever forget that moment. So much suspense. I was confident that he would kick it.

Did Geelong pay to much for an aging Ablett? Is Gary's shoulder ok? The Cats have no depth. There will be nothing about us.

oh really? I thought there were doubts about Gary but haven't kept up to date on the other 2. They are all match winners who can take the game by the scruff of the neck. They are at the level we hope our young players will get too and the type of player that we have missed for decades. If you kick a goal to put your team in front with 1 minute to go, it gets more points than if you kick a goal while 10 goals up or down. They obviously do not have Hunt as a half back flanker as Hibberd isn't elite. (Unless they don't have Hibberd as a hbf)
