What every delisted and retired AFL player has planned for 2022
Buntine will be a good pick-up for Casey. Very happy. I remember Brock Smith being highly touted in his draft year but never heard of him post draft.

Dees Relaunch Academy Program
Ah yes... the academy zones. Given to us because the states in the north had an unfair advantage. A chance for us to develop some talent and get something back. Except when we do develop the kids the states in the north just draft them anyway. Seems really fair and worth our time and money. So yeah. Let not develop them too well so we can actually have access to them.

Hunt v Bowey and Hibberd v ??
The sad thing is that I double checked to make sure I used a 'e' instead of an 'a'

Luke Dunstan Excited for 2022
I think both you and Dazzle have valid points. I'm happy we have him as depth but think it was an odd choice for him to choose us.

Hunt v Bowey and Hibberd v ??
Im predicting Hibbered will play about 5 -10 games this year and will lose his spot in the 22 to a younger player. He will get a one year extension. Hoping that he can get to 100 games for the club. Currently on 89 and 173 in total.

2021 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett
At the 6:14 mark you can hear the regular Adelaide Demon supporter yelling "Whoo Hoo!" in the background!

COVID cases spread at Jack Trengove’s wedding
Anyone following the NBA will see that this would be a huuuge advantage if all our players got it prior to the season. Difficult with the various strains i guess.

Weid Hits the Ground Running
He needs 3 games to get to 200. I bet he will play 3. If he didnt have the supplement saga year off he would have made it to 100 games for the club and become a life member.

Weid Hits the Ground Running
I feel like this has been said before. He is contracted for two years so I technically we could be saying the same thing this time next year. I get what you are saying though... if he can't put it together this year then I think even the more ardent supporters will lose patience. What would be the bare minimum pass mark for Weid this year? I think he needs to show that he can consistently kick multiple goals.

What they're saying about Max elsewhere
Not fair at all. McCrae is a very good player. Is he as good ad Oliver? No. The guy who you quoted doesn't watch non demon games.

What they're saying about Max elsewhere
I rate him very highly. I would love to have Bailey Smith on the list. I don't think he will ever be the mid who continually pushes back into defence. He does his best work mid and fwd and he would be wasted if he didn't play to these strengths. He didn't have the best grand final but is still young. Gus had an epic grand final. I will love him forever for that game alone.

What they're saying about Max elsewhere
They had no other choice. If they played Sweet instead the result would have been worse. They took a punt on a 198cm, 35 year old ruckman which cost them very little in trade and salary cap in the off season. He just couldn't stay fit enough to get the job done. It might have paid off if they came up against another club with weaker rucks in the grand final. Personally I thought it wasn't a great pick-up at the time.

The preliminary final... my god.

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
Might be time you just blocked him then and moved on maybe.

Welcome to Demonland: Blake Howes
I would say he just hasn't drafted any which is the main problem. Stretch was an inside mid at junior level. He was a father son and I wouldn't blame Taylor for Billy not making it on the outside. Baker with a later pick isn't looking good. Too early to tell on Rosman. Jordon probably should have been developing as a wing but the club put him into the inside mid role. Taylor simply hasn't drafted any wingers or KPF to make a call in my opinion.

Welcome to Demonland: Judd McVee
MelbourneFc.com.au_JuddMcVee MELBOURNE will be giving Judd McVee a shot at the top level, signing him in the NAB AFL Rookie Draft. McVee was made to wait for his AFL call-up after missing selection in Thursday night’s National Draft, but there was plenty of interest in the defender due to his class off half-back. The 18-year-old is known for providing plenty of rebound from defence and will complement the likes of Christian Salem, Jake Bowey and Trent Rivers at the Dees. Standing at 182cm, McVee has clean hands at ground level and impressed many with his composure for East Fremantle in 2021. The Western Australian becomes Melbourne’s fourth new addition this week, following the recruitment of Jacob van Rooyen, Blake Howes and Taj Woewodin in the National Draft.

Welcome to Demonland: Judd McVee
We have taken Judd McVee 183cm 68kg. East Fremantle prospect Judd McVee is a smooth-moving defender with clean handling and skills, traits which may bode for more midfield minutes in the future. (other reports ive read say he is a goal kicker. so no idea bout his position yet) https://www.wafl.com.au/player/judd-mcvee https://x.facebook.com/RookieMeCentral/photos/gm.1041382413261822/3058614584376285/?type=3&source=57

Today’s Drafts - The Third Crack
I cant keep up with it all either. There are certain rules around how many you can have on your primary list dictates how many rookies you can have. It used to be easy as the rookie list was separate on the Demons official website. I got this from footywire. Rookies - Kade Chandler, Majak Daw, Deakyn Smith, Daniel Turner. No idea if that is right... where is Kye Declase?
