POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Me too. I feel so much more relaxed now that we have won a premiership. I don't have that feeling in the pit of my stomach on game day any more. We lose a game? Yeah. It's going to happen. I know we are going to be there in September in one way or another.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Sounded like the crowd was 50% Demons supporters when watching on TV

CHANGES: Rd 03 vs Essendon
What type of player are you thinking? A Stringer/Membrey type 190cm? Isn't Fritsch our medium/tall crafty match winner?

NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
Somehow Joe Daniher has been the most interesting thing about this game.

NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
It's hard going from the GWS v Sydney game to this.

NON-MFC: Round 1, 2022
I know exactly what you mean. It's like the majority of the players wish they had been drafted to another club but have accepted their fate. Like its genuinely just a job to most of them. They really should have won 2 premierships with the talented list they have.

Adam Cerra
So the agent guessed that Jackson wasn't on the table and they decided not to explore the deal further and moved straight to Carlton. Don't you think there would have been some more detailed conversations happening that weren't shown? The scenario you present is more than a stretch. Hell... It's more than a giant leap. Wouldn't the more likely scenario been that the agent asked the Demons what they were going to offer and that Jackson didn't come up in the conversation because he had no intention of leaving? I'm done with this.

I took a shot at you with my first post, I genuinely cant understand the connection from the Cerra trade to Jackson re-signing and i'm asking you to explain. I'm not the only one who cant understand. I'm not suggesting anything, I'm trying to work out what you mean and trying to help you explain by giving a potential scenario. If he had said to the club that he wanted to return home then we would have done the Cerra trade. Jackson is worth more than Cerra in my eyes but it would be steak knives if anything coming back our way. This is the crux of it. This is the bit that doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't we have done the Cerra trade if Jackson wanted to head home?

I fail to see the logical connection. Fremantle are a WA based club. Jackson is from WA. Is that it? If Jackson had told the club he wanted out, wouldn't we have Cerra on our list now? Or is it a Jeremy Howe situation where we have put him on the table and now he wants out?

I don't know how you don't know this already Lord Nev but I will let you know. *Spoilers* Bad news: We dont get Cerra. He goes to Carlton. Good News: We don't trade Jackson. He is still a Demon. You can stop worrying now.

Turner was injured?

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
Just feel like Carltons list is finally ready for finals. They have got the games into the kids and are actually applying good defensive pressure which was not seen under Teague. Hell... even Kennedy and Obrien looked the goods today

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
This year we will also have to contend with the other teams having a longer preseason. It should even itself up soon enough but we will have to dig deep early. Probably a good thing we play doggies first up in a way. Huge round 1 game.

POSTGAME: Community Series vs Carlton
Was Hunt that bad? Before the game I was thinking how good it was that we had some decent players to replace our first choices. Tomlinson looked just a bit off imo. Hopefully just getting some touch back.

GAMEDAY: Community Series vs Carlton
My favourite number is 3 for a reason but I will call out his [censored] negativity when I want to. It's not a one off. All he has to do is pump up the other team instead. He has been better since we kicked 5 in a row.

GAMEDAY: Community Series vs Carlton
The interesting thing is that it was mentioned by a few umpires last year that we were a very respectful team. Looks like the frustration is making a difference as Carlton arent getting pinged. This is what practice games are for I guess.

Petracca came in and got him high. Was there when shown on replay.

GAMEDAY: Community Series vs Carlton
I was at the grand final and the post match. He was clearly a demon man who loved the club. Can't stand him commenting Melbourne games. Constantly negative. I'm enjoying the game apart from him implying that we are getting ahead of ourselves. He has been like it for years. His attempts to be impartial is the problem. He needs to be taken off Demon games.

GAMEDAY: Community Series vs Carlton
They look quicker too. We have been chasing them so much. They look a bit rattled too. Need to slow their momentum down and get our forward pressure game up and going.

[censored] Gary Lyon ay? Tell him to shut the [censored] up. Decide if you are part of the club or not. If you want to be then don't sink the [censored] boots in at every [censored] opportunity

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
This is his big contract year. I don't blame him for holding up till the e d of the year. He seems like such an important part of the players friendship both on and off field. This will get done late in the year. Hunt is the interesting one in my opinion. Free agent will have suitors. It may be that the club deliberately low balls Hunt to encourage him to move and get am end of second round draft pick in return. This would also free up the cash to keep Brayshaw. Just Mt thoughts. I understand if some find this topic unsavoury at this point of the year. Hopefully Hunt would get the premiership medallion this year after being very unlucky last year.

Training Ground?
Is the re-surfacing anything to do with the new training base or just a separate thing? Either way it will be better for our players feet.

Harry Petty Out for 4-6 Weeks
Did he? I seem to recall that Cameron was on a rampage when Smith got moved onto him and while Smith didn't completely stop him, his output was far less. I'm not the biggest Smith fan, but his output is always better than I anticipate. He grabs and holds his opponents to stay close and gets away with it. In my opinion he has been lucky with the umpires on a few occasions. I thought he was going to be a real gun as a forward a few years ago.

Why Luke Dunstan came to Melbourne
The decision makes a bit more sense to me after reading the article. Sounds like he just wanted a good workplace and a fair opportunity to get a game if his form deserves it Originally I couldn't see why he would want to come here as he wouldn't get the game time I assumed he wanted. Will likely be a great pick-up with covid looking to effect the year dramatically like other sports have been.
